Interesting. Just shows how different experiences can be. I also had a bad time in some places while others seemily had the best ever. Traveling experiences depend a lot on the circumstances and people you meet. Wroclaw mostly was fine so far with me on my 10+ visits.. What Polish city did you enjoy most?

Wroclaw is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, also across Europe its worth visiting.
Wroclaw has very good transitions from historic quarters to modern buildings. Great walk.
