I keep wondering how all of this would’ve turned out if Francesco’s father had lived and restored peace between the Medici and the Pazzi
Wtf, it didn’t make any sense how quickly Francesco believed his uncle. I mean in one scene he tells Novella that his uncle twists things and creates doubts in people and then he doesn’t realise his uncle does the same thing to him? I was so angry that he just sent her away. There wasn’t even a scene where he realised that Novella was innocent and he had wronged her. I wished there was some sort of resolution.
Maybe the Pazzi are monsters, but Giacopo tried to open Francesco's eyes and make him stronger and less naive, next he needs reconciliation with him. Maybe Novella is a good girl, but she was a friend of Medici and especially of Lorenzo, Francesco could never forgive that, and he will never betray Giacopo.
@@Alex-PSG-2003I think it had to turn around because there was never a friendship b/w him and Lorenzo in history. The writer had to force it because only hatred is true to history. Sadly.
Novella's voice in English is softer and sweeter, it gives more the idea of what an innocent lady she is. In Italian, in her (and mine) mother tongue, her voice is different. Matteo's voice (aka Francesco), instead, is deep and sexy in any language 😂
She's an italian actress and she uses her voice in both languages
@@Prionospio I already know that, I'm Italian and I know well both the actors, I was just making a comparison between her tone of voice in English and in Italian
I believe their voices were dubbed for English version?? Of course I prefer Novella's english version and Francesco, his voice in Italian and English have no difference at all that I was fooled for a while that he was speaking english himself!

@@nurhadirahathilah996 they're not dubbed indeed, it's just that when Francesca Del Fa (Novella's actress) speaks in English, she has got a higher tone of voice. That's what I was meaning from the beginning.

@@TheLilikachan they actually had five children... They just have been cut off, but Francesco and Novella did have a family...
Also the son of Giuliano has been cut off. He had other lovers after Simonetta died. His son, born a month after Giuliano's death, became Pope Clemente VII
@@ilariadepaolis5771 in season 3 there's Giuliano's son, Giulio, and he's well involved in the family. He basically grows up with Lorenzo and Clarice's children, I mean his cousins

All Francesco had to do was talk to Lorenzo; he would have told him his intention was to get Guilano to marry Novella. But his brother refused; Clarice noticed the sparks between Francesco and Novella and suggested a marriage between them instead. No conspiracy. But Jacopo had his hooks so deep in Francesco he seemed to be looking for an excuse to part ways with the Medici and return to his uncle's control.

ЗЫ: а Франчик таки слабовольная козлина, хотя я до последнего (даже зная историю) надеялась, что он встрепенётся и не позволит Якопо себя подмять окочательно... Когда Новеллу выгнал, сразу всё понятно стало. И как только можно быть таким внушаемым? На его фоне Гульельмо вообще образчик здравомыслия.
