- I loved them so much, i hated jacopo for what he made francesco do to Novella, she deserved better.

this is the first time I saw this actor Matteo Martari that plays Francesco and I was instantly impressed by him! he has such amazing charisma and presence on screen, very unique and interesting and intense, and you just want to look at him, great actor and need to see more of him in the future!! Also it was heartbreaking how he portrayed Francesco and how he was in this show, because you could really feel he's a decent guy who was manipulated from all sides, and mostly by Jacopo, and you want things to work out and for him to find peace and friendship with Lorenzo and Medici family, you could almost believe they will work it out. In history he is shown as a pretty bad guy (tho history is often one-sided) but in the show I really rooted for him and yet I know history and how things ended up, tragic :(

I just can't believe how selfish someone can be to the point of ruin someone else's happiness! I'm so sad. Francesco deserves better than an awful uncle that just can think in a stupid and ridiculous rivalry
Matteo Martari gave life to Francesco's character so beautifully ❤️❤️ He had such an amazing charisma and that intense vibe going on for him, you can't help but feel bad for whatever happened with Francesco, loved his acting, hoping to see more of him in other shows in future ❤️🔥
Matteo Martari was superb in his role, believable and stunning! Fell in love with him! I felt very sad for how he was manipulated his entire life and I kept hoping he would never leave Lorenzo's side. Although in truth, Francesco was put to death - I was wishing the show would turn this historical fact around instead. I believe Matteo Martari should be our next James Bond! He is brilliant!
Francesco and Novella deserved their happy ending. I fell hard and fast for Francesco I can't hate him.

I didn't care all that much for Novella, but she deserved so much better in this show. I was so upset for what Jacopo did to Francesco, nevertheless he will remain my favourite character alongside Contessina.

Just the whole reason for breaking up was so... well, not a reason at all. He NEVER talked about what his uncle said. Not with Novella and not with Lorenzo. So stupid! Especially given that only moments ago he told Lorenzo that his uncle would do or say anything to cause some damage. Like ok, yeah exactly, so WHY do you suddenly simply believe him just like that -.-
The script had a lot of errors and plot holes all over it, this an example.

Su questo concordo, Francesco per me doveva fregarsene del giudizio dello zio (però conoscendo l'epoca visto che abitava sotto il tetto di Jacopo doveva ubbidirgli e forse la scelta che ha fatto è piuttosto plausibile)
