Excellent observation. I think that's the reasoning behind all sorts of uniforms. You're no longer the individual in street clothes, or civilian clothes, you're part of the team, or school, or unit. But it does work on an individual scale for many people. A switch of mindset from the relaxing-in-pjs person to the going-to-work person.
