You're absolutely right, fixing them is not usually very difficult at all, it's getting the durned parts! I find the most common missing parts are air filters. I don't get it.. The air filter is probably the second most important part of the engine, next to oil... It keeps debris out of the engine.. and here people are running a giant fan next to the ground, blowing dirt, and debris everywhere, sucking it into the engine. Not everyone realizes that an Engine is essentially just a giant air pump. It sucks air in, and blows it out.

I'm learning alot brother. Never opened OHV cover to adjust valve lash. Similar to spark plug gap.ty Mike

Loc-tite on that feeler gauge will fix that
