- This video shows the full record process of how I make the ceramic sculpture - Transplant series, including the bisque firing, glaze application, and glaze firing steps. It's an exciting process to finally see the glazed pieces.
The first part video includes press molding, coil building, clay handbuilding, and assembling. You can find it through this link. • Making ceramic sculptu...
The last part video shows the bisque firing and glaze firing of the other two pieces in this transplant series. You can find it through this link. • Making ceramic sculptu...
Hi, this is Wanying Liang. I am an artist based in upstate New York. I record the process of how I work on ceramic sculptures. The videos are mostly slow, quiet, sometimes might be boring, but you may find them satisfying to watch, too.
I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you've got any questions down in the comments. Please subscribe to my channel for more videos on ceramic art sculptures.
Thanks for watching and I'll see you soon with a new upload.

You are the first TH-cam creator to which I've subscribed. Your work is stunning. You capture the contemplative joy of hand building. Thank you.
@@laurastack5109 Thank you so much
Ty Liang for sharing. I’m inspired. You make the process look so easy.
This series is beautiful, and your videos are so calming.
So so inspired by your magnificent work! Thanks for sharing 🎉
Thank you so much!
Beautiful
What glaze do you use, an at what temperature do you fire it? Your work is stunning
I test and mix the glaze myself, fire to cone 4. Thanks for support!
Sono rimasta incantata delle sue opere, vorrei sapere se hanno un significato queste particolare forme .
Complimenti x il suo lavoro.
Incredible work!
They're so friend shaped 💖
I agree! :)
beautiful work as always
这个蓝太漂亮了,质感也很适合雕塑的造型!
The bue matt glaze is beautiful! Is this a cobalt blue stain you use? Your work is very inspirational, Thank you so much for sharing 💙🖤😊
Thank you, yes, I add cobalt in my glaze.
🎉 thank you
Both pieces are gorgeous! I especially love the texture on the blue one! What is that glaze?
Thank you. I made the glaze myself, it’s basically adding the blue stain to the glaze you are using. And you need to adjust the ratio of each ingredient depends on the texture you like.
@@Liangceramicstudiothank you that was lovely thank you for sharing. The blue velvet texture is wonderful, are you able to share more info on how to achieve that type of finish please❤️
Very beautiful!🤩
But how can you spray without protecting the room!!? At least you can use a back and sides to catch the dust (you can build it from time to time around your glasingtable, cover with damp fabric on the inside walls). Especially since your children sometimes stay in the studio. I'm concerned about your health. ❤😊
Realy like your work. Follow you since a year and I'm always amazed! Thank you!
Greetings from a fellow colleague.
Thank you so much for the advice and your support. It’s really important to reduce the dust in our studio. I am planning to make a box for spraying glaze these days. Before that I just try my best to clean my studio after glazing.
@Liangceramicstudio That's good news! Take care and. I wish you a very long ond prosperous ceramic career! 🎉
Super❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
So gorgeous!!! What recipe do you use for your blue glaze? It looks almost fuzzy and I love it 🥰
Thank you! I am still optimizing this glaze, maybe share it in the future.
非常喜欢你的作品❤🎉
