Note I forgot to add for Nezarec - Standing at the back of the node during damage massively improves his behaviour and reduces the frequency of his suppress attack, so make sure you're standing at the back edge for a smoother DPS phase!
As the resident Shatterskate Hunter in my groups I just want to say thank you for showing me new more optimal routes! I had been holding myself back this whole time and didn't know it!
This is the best raid series on youtube for people who have a baseline knowledge already, cant tell you how many new tricks I've learned here thank you Llama!!!!
Will say didn’t even watch the video but this will help a lot with blueberries learning the raid as videos only appear at the start of a raids release and die out after everyone knows the basic
For the 1-2 transition titans can take a very similar route as the hunter skip with some titan flying and other stuff just takes a little longer than hunter. Titans should be able to beat the turnback if your not slow so you could actually take the exact same route as the hunter route. There is also another route you have to pass the first launcher then you can go up via a grapple, somewhat swordclimbing, or a shoulder charge plus eager edge, tcrash, and probably other ways too then you just take the hunter route from there. Although kinda slow titans can take the same route as locks for the 3-4 transition if the lock only has heat rises and no well, you can just jump over the top, it is faster than going all the way around.
For Cataclysm, blade barrage hunters with Shards of Galanor can essentially one shot the tormentors after their shoulders are broken and can have their super back up for almost for each one.
First of all, cool guide Second, if you know what you're doing with lion rampant, all the hunter skips are possible/easy on titan. Super skating can't hurt either even though it's entirely unreliable
I’m trying to do the 3-4 skip but for some reason I just don’t go fast enough to get to the floating rock. I have enhanced eager edge with 100 mobility but it just doesn’t work and I lose all my momentum by the time I get to like 3 quarters of the way
You have to pull your eager edge out at the very last second, since when you do so, it kills all of your momentum. Also start your skate on the same platform I do.
Nez damage always seems to be super scuffed when I do it. Is there anything more specific about the positioning than "just be on the final light node?" I feel like I see him move laterally less on videos about him than I do ingame. Is it just the adds thing? Are people standing too close?
Perhaps I should have mentioned in the vid now that I think about it, but nezarec barely uses his suppress attack if you make an effort to stand at the back of the node, which makes damage easier.
Mid guide for not including the gigachad strat of 5 Thunderlords. Jk, amazing guide, your insight is well explained and even for someone that does a lot of raids, there is always something to pick here.
This is cool, but I'm still looking for an updated guide on the LFG experience. For those of us who haven't done the raid much how what can we do to jump into the raid experience and pass the KWTD test?
Find a Sherpa run on LFG and get somebody to teach you or watch a raid guide for beginners (tons of those out there, therefore llama didn't want to make another one as that segment is kinda oversaturated)
I would like to talk about a situation where only one person knows how to run on encounter 2. It is very Similar to duo running except you do both parts. If you want an example of this just watch xemo’s solo flawless runs as he has it down to a science and watching him is better than me explaining it.
or for first encounter u all just be in the buff bubble and one person shot then every one gos to a different nodes and all shot to active the nodes for time and ur finish the encounter.
with hunter and warlock you can line to the 6 man door in 2-3 pretty easily if people are bitching too much. then you can go through the door, up the stairs, and continue the route
You did 4 man running on Scission a little wrong. since when the cross runners dunk their first ones on the opposite side, why would they cross back over just to grab the same buff and cross back over again immediately to dunk it when you can just follow your same advice as duo running? if there's a buff that can be taken across from the side you're already on, then why not take it with you?
How dows adept farming work now? there are 6 adept weapons and 4 encounters, you can only farm it on rotation week... are they random drops or are they in a fucked weird rotation?
They're really not especially hard, especially if your goal is just "get to the end" rather than trying to apply more advanced strategies to clear faster like Llama demonstrates here, and especially RON where it really only takes 1-2 people in the raid to be actually competent and the rest can skate by on add clear. Find a teaching run and approach it level-headed and you'll do fine.
@@Patterner You don't need any specific loadouts or specific skills for this raid. All you genuinely need as a new player to complete this raid is minor common sense with the ability to listen and learn. The hardest thing mechanically in this entire raid is calling the odd one out between 3 things (planets), picking it up (hold a button) and depositing where your teammate said (also hold a button). The rest of the mechanics are just hit the glowing plate then hit the orb, hit the glowing plate, hit the orb.
@@PatternerI was like you a few months ago I thought I was going to ruin people's fun but when I started raiding I realized it wasn't that hard to learn the mechanics you just need a tolerating teammates(which they are many) and you will learn how the mechanic works and it will get easier and easier to raid by time( raiding was the most fun thing I did tbh I regret not starting raiding earlier)

Titan movement tech is just grapple the warlock and hope you can follow
The videos are short(er than most), clear and filled with juice. Love it
P.S. We need more Raid Mastery vids!! I'm missing Vow😢
vow will arrive in 2 weeks
This is my favorite series in destiny 2 🔥🔥
Excellent and detailed video, very nicely done!!!
ANOTHER BANGER SERIES lets go llama

Keep up the great work with the videos mate your channel should be a lot more popular.
You share quality information that is very helpful thank you!
Thank you dude that means a lot :)
For the titan you could do sword fly + grapples to make it work for 1-2 skip
True, looking back it would be kinda boring to include in the vid tho haha
100%

Its all possible on titan but theyre also incredibly slow compared to well/shatterskating

How does your heat rises refresh on the 1-2 skip?

Just kick everyone from the fireteam and hit 2-3 skip, then they can rejoin
Is bubble skating still a thing? I thought titans at least had that as a movement option...
What's the purpose for the switch thingy floating above the Explicator?

Song during 2-3 transition?
Surely there’s no way to do warlock skip in 2/3 in time before death wave
why should i early floor ? i need to wait anyway or not?
