- Well, another six months has passed, and another Compilation Video is ready for uploading. This one took a long time due to flash drive malfunctions, copyright issues, and computer rebooting, and is about as complete as those "undesirables" will allow it to be.
Anyway, this is a Compilation video of the trailers, promos, commercials, bumpers, and logos from the vast amount of Walt Disney Home Video releases from the year 1997. This year was one of the busiest, most productive years for the company's video department, with many releases such as:

This one took a LONG time to work on, so don't expect another Compilation video until Late Spring/Early Summer at the earliest.

Something I just realized: For 1997, Disney sure loved the jungle. Here's 3 movies that prove this theory:
1. Jungle 2 Jungle: released in theaters March of 97 & released on home video August of 97
2. George Of The Jungle: released in theaters July of 97 & released on home video December of 97
3. Jungle Book: re-released on home video October 97
Or better yet, France
1. Hunchback of Notre Dame was released on Home Video in March 97
2. Sleeping Beauty was released on Home Video in September 1997
3. The Enchanted Christmas was released in November 1997.
I definitely do remember those VHS Disney openings and trailers, when I was a little boy!

You know, seeing all the "Timeless Disney Classics" promos back to back makes me realize two things:
1: "Disney Movie Club" should REALLY promote their exclusives this way!
2: Maybe the "Masterpiece Collection" logo being on both "Old Yeller" & "Pooh's Grand Adventure" was NOT a mistake after all.

That doesn't mean they won't pull my video down. Remember, this is both of them rolled into one. So one infraction becomes two instantly

Then why is it included in the 1997 compilation?
Because I have two versions of the tape, one from Late 1997 with different trailers and the generic version with the previews in tact.
Will there be a 1999?
At some point, yes. As I did with 1998, I will have to acquire more 1999 VHS Tapes (especially The Great Mouse Detective, My Favorite Martian, Hercules: Zero to Hero, and a few others) as well as trying to structure around multiple film specific release and trailers and trying to avoid copyright issues with things such as Geris Game from A Bugs Life and the Tarzan Teasers from both A Bugs Life and Mulan. I am currently working on repurposing the 1994/1995 video back onto TH-cam, so it will take a great deal of time. I would say I won't be able to start work on it until realistically after Christmas of this year.
