- My first Compilation Video in over a year, so hopefully you all enjoy.
This Compilation Series Video will focus mostly on the Disney Animated Movies released in the Platinum Edition Line, which went on from the Fall of 2001 to the Fall of 2009. There will be at least one trailer for each of the Platinum Edition VHS and DVD releases, including trailers for:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Beauty and the Beast
The Lion King
Aladdin
Bambi
Cinderella
Lady and the Tramp
The Little Mermaid
Peter Pan
The Jungle Book
101 Dalmatians
Sleeping Beauty
Pinocchio
It's not perfect, as my theatrical Beauty and the Beast trailer was corrupted and I believe there were a handful of other trailers I could have used for videos like Bambi, Cinderella and The Little Mermaid, so it is possible that an ULTIMA Edition could be made in the future. But in the meantime, I hope you guys enjoy this video, one that I had been hoping to make for a few years.
Amazing that $30 back then got you not only a disney movie, but games, behind the scenes, multiple versions of the film, an art gallery, and interactivity.
Actually, the DVD versions of the Platinum Editions were roughly $24.99. At least when we bought Aladdin, Lion King, Jungle Book and Little Mermaid it was
@@TheNMan64 Even to this day, I'd consider the platinum DVDs to be worth the money just for extra content that came with the films. A lot of this isn't on Disney Plus either (though I had to import a UK copy of Make Mine Music)
A lot of the Making of Specials and games are on TH-cam.

Platinum Edition 2001-2005 DVD releases of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs (1937), Beauty & The Beast (1991), The Lion King (1994), Aladdin (1992), and Bambi (1945) have featured the THX Digitally Mastered, & Disney DVD Pure Digital Magic Logos (Even though that was featured on other Disney Special Edition and other standard releases of the movies that were released within that half of the 2000 decade)!
I'm intending to collect all the Platinum Editions. So far I have Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, and Sleeping Beauty.
Missing Cinderella, The Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians and Pinocchio?
@@TheNMan64 Yeah, those are ones I need to get. I'm replacing Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid for three reasons.
Beauty and the Beast = Lost disc 1
Aladdin = Badly scratched (both discs)
The Little Mermaid = Bootleg (kinda)
