There was no desire and no covering when going for headers. I’m sure they know themselves what went wrong, hopefully we see a major improvement next match. ❤
His bread and butter is only because he’s tall. He’s been awful this season, I don’t know why he’s still getting chances over Luke who is having to be played out of position half the time at cam which then kicks Misha out who also has some stunning games.
The difference from Haysom/Anderson to Halford/Randall is wild. The starting CB’s are clearly the most important part of this team. Up the tags always and looking towards some redemption next game.
Randall isn’t good enough, and Halford needs to go, he thinks his “nonchalant” defending is good, it isn’t, he is slow and sloppy in the air. And luke may parrot deserves to start every game, he is the danger man with his deep runs behind, and he obviously gives us a alternative forward threat that AT doesn’t give us.
I would love to see Sak play the role that Restrepo was playing this game. Really think he could do the role Jesse and Jermaine had before, looks comfortable on the ball and think he has a good vision. Also really missing Brooks from last season, he was so quality on the LB.
Halford looks like he doesn’t even want to be there, every goal was just walking. As a manager I would be livid to see anybody not running back, also I love AT and was happy to see him finally stsrt but his finishing has been shambolic the past few games hopefully he can regain that form
Lets be honest, being forced to combine a new keeper with an untried centre back pairing, we were always going to be defensively vulnerable in this game. BUT, in that case, the rest of the team has to really step up and help out and they just didn't. The midfield have to really read the game and protect the back line and the strikers have got to be clinical and take the few chances they get and there was none of that from either unit. I've been worried about AT's conversion rate for a long time and it was brutally exposed here. Harry's cheap red card really came back to bite them. Hopefully that is a lesson that Harry and the whole team will learn and remember going forward. What this game might do is give the management and high ups some pointers towards recruitment needs for next season. And an occasional crash course in expectation management for us fans is probably not a bad thing either 😂.
Our normal cb partnership is so good but this more than illustrates our need for more depth in that department. Halford, with all his experience, doesn’t have it anymore.

Not seen the 90 mins. But based on this, this is more than us not being clinical. Greg has probably been forced to come back a week or two too early and it showed. And this was exactly what I said about last week, our defence and our player marking is ridiculously poor. People are saying it's all Randall/Halford but watch some of the goals and just look at everyone else around the players in the box, no-ones moving to stop shots, people are just jogging about and walking in the defence it's a joke. Also AT needs to hit the target, week after week now he's just blazing shots well over the bar from great chances or putting headers wide from 5 yards out, don't know if his confidence is just gone but he's so much better than what he's been showing. His playmaking is still good, but needs to do some much better.
People need to realise games like this happen in football, changing both cbs is always gonna be hard and its no detriment to the players coming in. You can have a bad game and still be a great player. People need to remember that football isn't just the 11 on the pitch. UTT
At this point I don't know why Luke May Parrott doesn't start, and why hook the tricky Sak Hassan off at HT when he at least looked a bit of a threat in the first half by hitting the bar? Poor by Camilo at 2-0 when the easy square to Luke was on. One of them bad days at the office.
Hopefully Devs is in the market for a better third choice centre back. We have seen Halford not at his best for some time now but Randell doesn't have the legs or sharpness to cover for Haysom or Tom either. That being said, more tenacity was needed to cover for the centre halves. And up front, no one looked like scoring.
The last 2 we lost I can understand, top of the table and then Dulwich Hamlet who were in the conference recently. But this was just difficult to watch, never looked at the races all game
Matty had a rough couple of games. Maybe tired but you see him a few times dropping his man, not closing him down, not being on the right side between the man and the goal. It looks like he's tired or smth. Hope he picks up form again soon. AT for his life can't score last couple of games. A few times were I also thought that our keeper could have catched it, but ultimately a hard welcome back I know they'll be back
At his age and current form, Halford can only be effective at this level with an active, athletic centre back next to him like Haysom or Tommo. He and Randell are atrocious together. Yet another game where Camilo was a non factor. He’s great with the ball at his feet but doesn’t have the pace, or physicality to consistently take guys on and doesn’t have the vision or end product to do anything with it when he does. You can see AT is getting a bit desperate to mark his territory up top with Luke arriving but he just needs to get back to his old ways of making aggressive runs into the box and challenging every ball and I think the goals will come. Not sure if there was an injury or something but Sak seemed to be the only bright spot in that first half, have to wonder why he was taken off. Rough night but I know everyone is better than they were tonight, 3 points next time
@@JB-px6qlIt’s Halford and Randell’s first game playing together. Your above point about “these center halves are shocking” makes no sense because you never saw them play together before
Might be time to understand that theres no balance in the defense, both CB's are ball playing & stiff centre backs. Pace is needed asap. Either you convert Nathan into a CB which is a quicker defenser then you go scout for a new quick/phyiscal Left-Back, or just find a pacier Center Half. You pair the two, one ball playing, taller and physical and one quicker, maybe less physical but can atleast catch up to tricky attackers. Balance is needed.
I love AT as much as the next guy but I think it's time Luke starts either by himself or alongside AT or Alfie once he comes back. Luke has proven himself as a goalscorer and needs more opportunities. When it comes to the CBs I think we need to give greg more time. He's just back from injury after a couple of months not playing. He's gonna have some rust to run off. As for Randall I don't think he's shown enough yet to warrant a starting job but I've seen flashes of an interesting player.
randall's had better day's, greg's j come back into the lineup, don't know why people are so harsh on them both. wouldn't be surprised if it was their first time playing together. poor performance from the team but they'll bounce back trust the process
How is nobody pointing out how little Mesha and Restrepo actually offer? They don’t work or provide quality or leadership. Devs has his favorites it seems🤦🏼♂️
Mesh is normally great when he's deployed in the CAM role, he doesn't look good on the wings but him and Luke pair up really well in attack, but Devs keeps starting Mesh with AT for some unknown reason and has him on the wings with Luke. Watch the games where Mesh has been CAM and Luke has been up top and you can just see how much more lethal we look.
Shambolic overall. AT can't convert chances to save his life, time after time in 1v1s, open goals, set pieces he seems to hit everywhere but the target. Halford jogging like we're 10 goals up, really poor defending overall and leaving Striz out to dry.
Well, I'm glad Devs is the manager and not me. I did not spot the naivety or the laziness in the first half (maybe due to only watching highlights), and I certainly wouldn't have had the nerve to shout at half time. Unfortunate that it didn't do much...
Love Teniola but it might be time....Cornhill not having a great game which is out of character, but the first two goals came off bad touches from him. Randall didn't cover himself in glory either, but may just be the lack of chemistry between him and Halford who hasn't played in a while. We will rally and go again!!
Crazy how few 50/50 balls we won.. very sloppy and lazy.. goes to show how much Ted saved us in recent games.. hopefully we can land a consistent goalie.. helps with the chemistry loads.. definitely disappointing to watch but we go on. UTT
Strizovich is good and did make some quality saves but that positioning on the 3rd goal wasn’t great. Haysom and Tommo missed greatly in the defense. Parrott needs to start and PK was missed in the starting XI.
Few issues in this team I think PK - since he's been there dunno what he offers, just looks sluggish but has a personality so people gloss over his actual ability. Does of the odd bit of flair here and there (which always looks accidental) AT - Well off it and looks beyond his level. Some good hold up play but doesn't ever look threatening Greg - so far past it now, but that might be why he doesn't play much anymore Few others but they stick out to me. A lot of people in this team that don't look good enough, even when the team plays well. Need a new striker for sure, and some names need to be dropped as just not good enough

At this point I don't know why Luke May Parrott doesn't start, and why hook the tricky Sak Hassan off at HT when he at least looked a bit of a threat in the first half by hitting the bar? Poor by Camilo at 2-0 when the easy square to Luke was on. One of them bad days at the office.
baffling he took hassan the only natural winger off
Maybe Devs was looking for more physicality to hold up the ball in these kinds of conditions.
4th goal was a mess.. so many players messing up. Heartless
was there any need for the Dev blowing my ear drums at 5:34 🤣
I’m telling you, when Toby isn’t there yous miss him massive. Unsung hero, always direct, fast, can finish, can cross, tracks back
I always love when you upload but to be fair I am not surprised that Ted has been recalled. But if you need a goalkeeper I can do a job ❤
What club do you play for?
The last 2 we lost I can understand, top of the table and then Dulwich Hamlet who were in the conference recently. But this was just difficult to watch, never looked at the races all game
I miss ted already.Defenders were shambolic today. So was AT in his shot selection.A night to forget
I’m a 19 year old keeper looking to break into higher leagues. Good experience, understanding of the game and hunger to get better!
i had to change tabs and left the audio running while Dev was shouting during half time cos it scared the shit out of me.
The fifa playa came back for a little bit at the intro
Matty had a rough couple of games. Maybe tired but you see him a few times dropping his man, not closing him down, not being on the right side between the man and the goal. It looks like he's tired or smth. Hope he picks up form again soon.
AT for his life can't score last couple of games.
A few times were I also thought that our keeper could have catched it, but ultimately a hard welcome back
I know they'll be back
At his age and current form, Halford can only be effective at this level with an active, athletic centre back next to him like Haysom or Tommo. Rough night but I know everyone is better than they were tonight, 3 points next time
Said it in a previous video these centre halves are shocking, look at the second goal...
said this half way through the video wow... Im a new subscriber so unfamiliar with the players but who on earth is the number 5?
Their first time playing together so you saying this in a previous video means absolutely nothing 👍
@@hughosullivan1647 didn’t the number 5 play in that game?
@@JB-px6qlIt’s Halford and Randell’s first game playing together. Your above point about “these center halves are shocking” makes no sense because you never saw them play together before
@@hughosullivan1647 fair enough then, from what I’ve seen every defender I’ve seen play has been shocking 😂 not sure if that’s any better
Don’t know why AT still starts, Luke is miles better, even holds the ball up better for a smaller lad. Halford had a mare too, bad day at the office.
You could tell from the first 5 minutes no one could be arsed. Just one of those games
Can't wait to see the new signing Ambataput Bophodes play, he is rapid and a natural finisher
never heard of him
Teniola isn't good enough to lead the line the sooner you realise that the quicker you will progress
Only 0C! it was - 5 here. Be that as it may the team froze though we could have scored 5 in second half - wayward shooting.
What an earth is woolbridge doing on that 3rd goal?!?!
Good luck Ted
Need to give Benson and Hedges a call to push for the playoffs i reckon
Sign both them boys up !
randall's had better day's, greg's j come back into the lineup, don't know why people are so harsh on them both. wouldn't be surprised if it was their first time playing together. poor performance from the team but they'll bounce back trust the process
AT needs to be more clinical. He's missing way too many chances and he's causing them games. Luke HAS to start over him at this point.
Rough---felt like no pride. I love this club, but this is the first time I felt like turning it off. Let's go boys, pick it back up!
Haven’t watched hashtag in a while but I swear Halford was a striker!
Third goal comes from 2 players not stopping the cross
“Safe hands in goal”
Luke needed back in, Halford and Randall should never put a hashtag shirt on ever again. PK has to start too, Cornhill and Nathan Smith CB
Lakaka is back at it again, shambolic finishing and Halford need to be place in a retirement home.
this game reminded me of the essex senior league dayz
How is nobody pointing out how little Mesha and Restrepo actually offer? They don’t work or provide quality or leadership. Devs has his favorites it seems🤦🏼♂️
Mesh is normally great when he's deployed in the CAM role, he doesn't look good on the wings but him and Luke pair up really well in attack, but Devs keeps starting Mesh with AT for some unknown reason and has him on the wings with Luke. Watch the games where Mesh has been CAM and Luke has been up top and you can just see how much more lethal we look.
Halford is trying to defend with his aura he needs to go
This game just shows how good Ted Curd was
Devs may as well play the reserves if we're going to witness performances like this week in and week out
Alot of dead wood! Hard to gel with the team this year as a supporter
Centerbacks were absolutely shambles
Shambolic overall. AT can't convert chances to save his life, time after time in 1v1s, open goals, set pieces he seems to hit everywhere but the target. Halford jogging like we're 10 goals up, really poor defending overall and leaving Striz out to dry.
What are the expectations like for this season and have they changed from the beginning?
Get the sense Devs wasn't happy at half-time. Not sure how I got that impression, just a vibe
Keeper had a bad one with a few others today, to many games they looked hella tired.
Why was PK not starting ??
Crazy how few 50/50 balls we won.. very sloppy and lazy.. goes to show how much Ted saved us in recent games.. hopefully we can land a consistent goalie.. helps with the chemistry loads.. definitely disappointing to watch but we go on. UTT
Strizovich is good and did make some quality saves but that positioning on the 3rd goal wasn’t great. Haysom and Tommo missed greatly in the defense. Parrott needs to start and PK was missed in the starting XI.
AT’s game is holding the ball up and being a box striker but he can’t even do that atm. Luke has to start.
Few issues in this team I think
PK - since he's been there dunno what he offers, just looks sluggish but has a personality so people gloss over his actual ability. Does of the odd bit of flair here and there (which always looks accidental)
AT - Well off it and looks beyond his level. Some good hold up play but doesn't ever look threatening
Greg - so far past it now, but that might be why he doesn't play much anymore
Few others but they stick out to me. A lot of people in this team that don't look good enough, even when the team plays well. Need a new striker for sure, and some names need to be dropped as just not good enough
Randall is mince
