Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. Great to snag a point! Agreed that we deserve more. Our attack is looking so good recently! Just small periods of loss in concentration in the midfield-defense has really opened us up! Though you can see us getting better and better each game
It's the same problem Boro had without Hackney, sitting midfielders not tracking with purpose, putting effort in to recover but not picking up when they actually get back, leaves spare men all over. But that looks to be changing now, good management from Devs and new lad looks like he can sort that too.

Luke and Sak’s link up play is amazing
Not gonna lie, it’s tough seeing my club drop so many points recently…but this is the same team that can hit their stride at any point in the season and win every remaining game. We may need to sign a game-changing defender, though. Losing our Wonderboy keeper to that loan recall has been tough.

I think what we’re not realising is that it’s our first season in a new league. We’ve just been promoted to a higher and more quality league.
For example, Fulham got promoted to the premier league. We can’t just expect them to challenge for top 6 in the first season..
Even the league we dominated last season, we came 8th the season before which helped lead to dominating that league afterwards.

It’s cause do two things. The tactics are so ass, just cross the ball and pray. And the biggest issue is the players. And I mean this with no disrespect some of these players just ain’t good enough. Put this squad agaisnt a team like baiteze and they are getting annihilated
Some real positive signs from this performance. Great goal from Camillo who is starting to answer the critics. Really not a lot between the sides tbh, probably just more consistency in finishing from Enfield over the course of a season.

Our defence has been awful the last couple of games. It has to be addressed and not just plastered over with "no negativity".
Yeah, even Haysom - the first goal he could have stepped up the line with Randell and it would have been offside. Looks like Tommo really is the glue that holds the defence together, hope he is back soon.
Matty lost his runner for the first and Nathan unfortunately stepped inside to support Haysom when he didn't need to for that 3rd which left the wide man open. I think he's been the least culpable defensively of the entire backline though.
Is that 16 conceded in 4 games?
The Smith-Hassan-Parrott combination is absolutely fantastic. We just need to be threatening on the right hand side more consistently

I think the lack of a holding midfielder is really hurting hashtag, the opposition don’t need many chances, because when they do there’s acres of space and multiple options with defenders running back to goal. Need someone back there sitting in front of the back 4.

I think the new lad will fill that place nicely, did well to set up that goal, won the header, quick ball out to good area, exactly what you need from a sitting player. Big lad too.

Sak Hassan fantastic once again. Made Luke look good today when he’s been pretty poor as of late. Great spirit to fight back for a point. Interesting hearing Spencer say he doesn’t rate the type of people who comment on TH-cam videos in his recent podcast with Jack Sullivan - think fans are entitled to an opinion (be it critical or not), and for an internet team, comments made on the internet should be accepted! Think you’re being too harsh on Luke tbh he does lots off the ball which won’t be seen in the highlights, he’s been a great signing for hashtag on the whole. Also I agree Sak is unstoppable at the moment

Totally agree with this, especially since this midfield is already more attacking than usual due to the injury switches , feels like the chances would’ve still been made and AT may be more likely to get a rebound chance to go
Again glad to see the creativity in the forward areas and our ability to bounce back but we still have a few too many sloppy give aways in our half. Hope we can clean those up

Definitely think we deserved more in the game, but I notice we have been conceding goals even though the opposition has had few chances, other than that, we played so well, and Sak is such a good player. Some massive positives to take away from this game, you can tell the boys are fighting hard and you love to see it. But still, we really should’ve won this game, while I’m glad we snagged a draw the way we did we should’ve been looking at a 3 or 4-1 victory here, need to try and reduce our mistakes defensively especially our wide. This may sound mad, but I don't think the first goal goes in if the defender doesn't come in with a late touch. It looks like the goalie got a good block on the ball, but it was redirected by the late foot of the defender. That ball had a funny spin in the air, which makes me think it would've been a great save if only the goalie blocked it.

Commenting after first half, great bounce back after the conceding, what a goal from the Brazilian, hes been a revelation as of late. The goal conceded was a bit sloppy tbh but the response was great and the boys kept putting the pressure on. Great half overall.

Great to see the boys get a point, but what is our marking? I know we've got defenders out and yada yada, but week after week we'll be 5v2 around the box and somehow they always have a man in acres of space? That 3rd goal how has their player gone unnoticed until he's got the ball? Also I love Matty, but he's been really poor for a number of weeks now, really unlike him and hoping he finds his form again soon, but at fault for the first 2 goals tonight and was getting murdered on that wing.
Unfortunate that after bouncing back from a terrible run of form with 2 of the best performances of the season the tags only get 1 point. Still buzzing with how the lads have turned it around!
Need to find a replacement for PK. Would allow for him to not play as much keeping him fresh but also provide some support for the midfield. Camillo is class but his play style involves the risk of losing it on the turn when getting it from the cbs. Gotta fix that. Not as much of a problem with PK in but without it hurts against top sides. Defensively we are in shambles, defo need some better cbs, our lack of quality in that position is putting too much pressure on our already thin midfield
Sak Hassan is better than Jermain Francis imo. I could tell from day 1 this guy was going to be a star and in the last month or so he's finally got a consistent run of games and is adding the goals and assists to his incredible performances.
He’s not better. Francis was a different beast, and he was as consistent as you could ask of a winger. He showed up every single game.

It’s obviously your opinion and I respect that but I just think Sak is better at beating players and just that bit more effective and has insane technical ability
