      I feel like we need a follow up to this video to show what to do on turns and rivers after we have X/R with our bluffs in particular. Like when we x/r with 78 on J66 board how do we continue on turns, when should we just give up and check. I feel like this is the sort of thing that gets me in trouble. I have this idea and x/r with 78s and then I keep bluffing on the turn and get it big trouble. In reality, I think Villians call the x/r more often than they should when IP, so now I'm stuck with lot of bluffs that I have to just give up on on the turn. I think people x/r less often because the Villian will actually call too frequently and so those bluffs don't get enough immediate folds. A follow up to this video would be awesome.

    After watching your video and with PeakGTO, I will be making those adjustments to my play. I want to be a crusher like you and not a nit. Thank you for this video and your teachings.

      You just keep on betting if you pick up equity.. and if not, you check-fold

    LOL 3 examples of paired boards with the amateurs I played with 10 years ago (not that I'm a pro, lol)
    - A lady losing her entire stack in a tourney because she had "2 pair on the flop". She actually had A 5, on a 5 6 6 flop. And she kept saying "I had 2 pair on the flop"
    - Another one where there was a paired board, maybe J 9 9 6 5, and I made a crying call with a 6. Then the guy puts down pocket 2's, and proudly says "TWO PAIR!"
    - last one, at a house game, something like 5 8 8 9 Q board, I didn't even acknowledge the 8's and say "pair of 9's" . The guy excitingly says "oh, TWO PAIR! and shows the 5. "

    What about two-toned paired flops? Are they any different from rainbow paired flops?

    • @PokerCoaching
      @PokerCoaching  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Typically, 2-tone flops will be check-raised at similar frequency to a slightly smaller size

    That first example sucks for everyone. I gotta fold after defending if I'm BB and I get no value if I'm UTG

    How can you possibly know the other players' range by using the gto wizard? Maybe the villains actual range is wider. It's player dependant. Unless you believe everyone plays the same. Am I missing something?

    • @PokerCoaching
      @PokerCoaching  วันที่ผ่านมา

      This is true. This makes studying very important! You have to get a baseline and then use your judgement if they're wider or tighter, and adjust your strategy to exploit their tendencies.

      you aren't missing anything. if you play with regulars you will get used to their ranges otherwise try and get as much information based on the small sample size you see

    After I check raise with bluff, the opponent call. Idk what to do on the turn.

      Ofcourse, you’re playing a big pot out of position with a marginal hand against a range that has a lot of good and nutted hands. But your range becomes polarized too. Gonna be doing a lot of checking turn and evaluating whether you try to bluff turn/river or fold to a better hand

    • @PokerCoaching

      Typically, when you turn equity, you continue to bluff.

    If there is a paired board and you have trips, you "block" quads so you're guaranteed to have the best hand.

      @UN66666 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      you do not block theoretically another type of quads, boats or straights...

    • @untouchable360x

      @@iansjoberg3361 Quads beat boat. You can rep quads because you have a "blocker" in your hand.
