Have you ever had an area selection so large and at a zoom 20 where you had to split the images into more than one image out of SAS Planet? Does it change anything for the process with Insight once you do this? I have this issue right now with a lake that is really long North to South. I guess the question I am asking is if you have more than one image will insight work to create a map from all of those images/files or should you only work with one image?
Thanks for sharing! I created the maps as you suggested, but could not get my Lowrance Hook2 units to read them. Are these map files compatible with the new Hook2?
Thanks for the video. I have been trying to create an aerial river map. When I get to the step in SAS Planet where you Go to setting, options, and then Cache. I select the file where the google earth cache is located (C:\Users\Travis\AppData\LocalLow\Google\GoogleEarth\). After clicking apply and ok, No maps appear. It is a blank gray screen. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
I checked and with current updates to SAS Planet, the new file location seems to be C:\Users\Travis\AppData\LocalLow\Google\GoogleEarth\Cache\ I tried this and the maps appeared. Let me know if this works for you.
Great video, had issue with small 80 acre lake maybe you can help me with. Image shows all the surrounding land in g. Earth image but the old lake image come to front and hides the google earth image. For just split second i can see the GE image the to original just basic blue map pops up. Do i have an issue with some setting in sounder of what’s up. Any help appreciated.
