@@Dolleyxowould you be willing to share some basic topaz settings to make footage better ? Been wanting to buy topaz but don’t want to drop money without knowing much about it
he didn’t share the settings so it’s still gatekeeping lol topaz settings aren’t as simple as they should be. It’s also a new software so not a lot of tutorials out there.
Thank you for being informative, showing how the setup works and providing links to the products. It's frustrating when people gate-keep from others learning.
Hopefully dji sees the great potenial this camera has for car filmmaking. I hope the next dji osmo pocket 4 has a 3x optical zoom lens like the dji drones. That would be huge!
Your video made me buy the pocket 3 and I'm really glad i've watched your video!! Now i'm able to make shots that ive always dreamed of. Thanks alot man🤝
Love the pocket 3 - mines similar setup but using a suction cup mount with the shoulder strap mount dji sells for a bit of safety and attach to the camera car
i bought the pocket 3 a few weeks ago and ended up doing everything you said on my own lol, down to using the gopro branded suction cup mount, to controlling it myself in my own vehicle and testing the range of the Wi-Fi. i just bought a magnetic mount from small rig just for a little extra piece of mind. great video
Did you have any vibration issues in the footage? I’ve got the ulanzi suction cup with the insta360 vibration damper and still getting some vibrations in the footage
Can you make a video on the best way to use this camera via phone if your not to computer savvy? I have a computer but I’m still learning how to use it but I gotten pretty good with my phone for my videos thanks
If your shooting in normal colour mode, just grab a sd card to phone adapter, and save your video, chuck it in capcut and do whatever you need there man. You should still get some awesome content that way
Thanks for sharing, but the "capcut to Instagram" is probably the most important. Would be nice to see your export settings on Capcut, which is where the final edit is going to be rendered before upload.
thanks for your video :) do you have any problems with distortion? in my videos the cars turn out narrower and shorter than they are (only using ND filters, no wide angle lense)
Gained yourself a subscriber. I have an issue though, I used the pocket 3 first time in 4k landscape mode and when I crop to 9:16 it’s not a clear vid. Any suggestions? Thought it’d be capable of that at least
Good vid. It’s a great camera but I’ve found I get a lot of micro jitters so I have to keep it out of the way of wind and pick super smooth roads. Filmed a whole sequence last night and the whole lot is pretty much useless. I know it’s a gimbal but if Dji added rocksteady to this and a tighter lens it would be incredible.
Been seeing your stuff blow up on IG. Why choose the cropped 3k vertical over mounting it sideways for true vertical? Does the sideways orientation affect the gimbal's effectiveness, or is this just so you can achieve both by switching through the app and not having to constantly switch?
I haven’t played around with mounting it sideways yet, I still get pretty decent quality with 3k but I’ll definitely have a play around with it and see if it’s any better
Heya, Loved the content. Very through and transparent. Gotta appreciate the content. What nd filters are you using and did you post edit anything on this video? Thanks!
Thanks man! I’m using the 8 or 32 just depends on how sunny it is at the time of filming. I gave the clips a slight colour grade and ran them through topaz ai
Nice to see Topaz mentioned. I’m just about to test mine out tomorrow but wonder how well it will work shooting 16:9 and then cropping it in post 4k zoomed to about 50% then run through topaz to try and regain some of the loss off resolution
Hello ! I loved the video. I have the pocket and I would like to try this type of videos, but I have the doubt that if the bumps, the speed or the wind can damage the camera, or the wind can break the gimbal, is that possible? Have you had any problems with the camera? thanks and good job!
I commented and sent you a message on IG.. can you check? I don’t usually do rollers but I do close ups on the vehicle, would the settings still be accurate? Also.. can you post a link to your ND filters you purchased?
very nice. straight forward! Whats ur export settings in capcut? wondering how big the filesize is before uploading to instagram. somehow most ppl gatekeep that and all my stuff looks so shitty. great video man! and damn that car... :P
Topaz AI settings are now linked in the description!
You’re real asf for mentioning topaz, most creators gatekeep that part
Thanks man, I definitely didn’t want to hide that as it’s a pretty important part

That would be awesome, the Osmo pocket 4 will be a game changer!
Yesss. Also, a midrange Ronin 4D. Just 4K. Doesn’t even have to be full frame. Super 35 would suffice.
Coming from first buying dji drones this feels like a drone cam on a stick and I can just see the the triple lens mavic pro camera on one 😂🤞🏽

i’m just curious if you can mount this so well that you can run backroad footage while pushing it
Definitely would be possible, I got the new movmax arm and it absorbs the bumps so well. It would be perfect for that
@@Dolleyxo bet i can record my runs then it won’t look like go pro footage either lol
Hey what’s the piece that you use to have the osmo connected. It didn’t come with my GoPro mount purchase. That threading connector what was it ?
Just bought mine, can't wait to try out the neat things I just learned!
Can you do this with a gopro or dji action camera?
what about capcut settings? how you export from there?

Solid setup and content mate. Quick question, how are you connecting to the app without wifi?
Just using my data man, but I believe it doesn’t use wifi, it has its own wifi network that you connect to
When you wanna upload to IG or tik tok do you export in capcut at 1080p 30fps or what? i’m only editing on mobile
I believe my capcut exports at 1080 25fps, which is standard for mine
thanks for your video :) do you have any problems with distortion? in my videos the cars turn out narrower and shorter than they are (only using ND filters, no wide angle lense)
Auto White Balance ? And risk colour temp changes in the shot ?

Try just recording in 3k portrait mode, but if you’re recording in 4K landscape maybe try zooming the lens in abit more since you’ll be cropping it

I ordered an insta360 vibration dampener since I had the same microjitter issues. Hopefully that fixes them!
Yeah you definitely need smooth roads, I did do some filming on a really bumpy road and it the footage turned out fine
can the dji track the car or is it only has a static position
Best video online .. so well detailed thank you
hello, can you show a tutorial on what you do in topaz
Great video bro! I have only one question. What kind of mount do you use? because i cannot find the GoPro mount u have. Keep up the work💪❤️
This is awesome. Why export in both premiere pro and cap cut ?
Yes BRO! Been doing this but on my motorcycle!
Just got everything ready todo rollers on my motorcycle too. Normally I just used to do everything via drone lol
It would be perfect for the motorcycle, you’ll definitely get some awesome footage

Once I’ve got the settings perfect I’ll make a video on that
How did you fix the connectivity range? I have issues connecting to it even from my drivers seat.
Maybe make sure everything is updated, I haven’t had any issues so far with range
Awesome video!! Thank you for the info, ill be looking into getting this setup 👌

cool video man, greetings from Argentina
Did you have it zoomed in or just standard focal length
Most of the previous clips were all standard, but I now usually zoom in about 1.5
Settings for After Effects?
What do you export at in CapCut

So far I’ve gone over some really bumpy roads and had some windy days, gone 100km/h and the camera hasn’t missed a beat so far
Been waiting for this video, Thanks bro! Any chance you have a link for the go pro mount or something similar?
Nice tutorial 🙌🏾🙌🏾. What settings do you use on Topaz?
You said you film in portrait mode? But your clips look like landscape mode…or am I wrong?
Thanks for this info bro. Do you still tie off with the mov max arm blade now?
I’ve used the blade arms a few times now, and haven’t tied it up yet, but I really should

How much is topaz and is it worth it? mainly for instagram reels
I think I paid $400 Australian dollars, it’s good for improving details in your video and removing noise
Just ordered mine!
Amazing video
Share your topaz settings also please
Nice tutorial. Thank you bro 🤜🤛

Love the video bro it be dope if you did a topaz video as well showing more in depth!!
I’ve still been learning topaz once I’ve got it consistent I’ll definitely make a video on it
Nice video 🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
Nice Camera Car 😅
You could've done some great rollers with a real camera, use the iPhone at this point
I have a Sony a7iii and the Osmo pocket is so much easier setting up for rollers
You a hater bro 😂
