  • This video contains both successes and fails. See how I sowed my “Cool Flowers” seeds for fall planting! I discuss how some of these seeds are started. We look at different brands and planting instructions. Stay tuned till the end of the video for an update of how well each one did. A bonus is that you will be able to see which brand gives more seed and how the seeds perform! Why did some of them fail? Could it be user error?

Wow, I found you 2 wonderful and energetic people. You both look awesome. I too started a garden. Have about 900 square feet and 12 spoiled rotten chickens. Lol. Are you still hanging out with Bonny? Best of luck on your gardening. Aka. Teacher Sandy 😉

Lisa will probably send you more if you don't have what was ordered, I'm sure, she is small but in business long enough. I saw she gives pens and extras in the shipments

I think it’s what we ordered. It’s just that upon comparing them, the value isn’t as great as we thought at the time.

I'm in 8A, Eastern NC and I'm trying my luck at starting poppies, foxglove, snaps, petunias, etc. I was freaking out that I'm late, but I have similar conditions as you. We had a frost about 3 weeks ago, it's been in the 50s and 60s every night since 🤣 I have a cheap plastic greenhouse I can pop the trays into if we have frost/freezing temps again soon.
What do you plant for the earliest impact? I'm starting a new cottage garden area, trying to do as much from seeds and cuttings as I can to save money.

Johnny's is 50 seeds per package too, unless you order 500 or more it gives you options but they are expensive $4.50 just for 50 seeds, if more the cost goes up.
I order from botanical interest it might not have all the varieties but the range is wide

You never get many seeds in big box companies
