I think Move Forward Party should have nominated a second person for prime ministership, because if Mr Pita were to be disqualified, then at least there is someone else to lead the party and be the prime minister. But right now, if Mr Pita were disqualified, then Move Forward Party won't be able to become the prime minister, and a lot of their policies may not be able to be implemented, such as the widely watched reform of the royal defamation law.

I have questioned I hope someone here will able to hear me and give me an answer to my question, Pita got the majority vote and successfully form a coalition to other oppostion candidate and yet they have still short of 67 votes. What will happen if considering Pita cannot secure of that number of vote, Does that stop him as being the next prime minister? who will then be the next prime minister, as i think even if Prayut got the support of 250 senators and those 38 parliament vote that he got still that's not enough to defeat Pita, then who will be the next Prime Minister. Does election need to be decide base on majority parliament votes and not percentage in parliament vote?

not exactly sure. but i believe the 250 senators and current more 'conservative' parties could come together and support another candidate for PM (need not be prayuth). 250 (senators) + 70 (Bhumjaithai) + 41 (PPRP) + 36 (UTN) = 397.

He won’t be able to be the next prime minister if he does not get enough vote. It is the rule that written by the previous military government. There are many theories and possibilities in this case but it will lead to political complication and tension for sure because 14 millions, the majority of Thai people that voted for him will not accept that. As one of his voter, I hope he will get enough vote so Thailand can move forward after 9 years of military domination.

Yes it possible that his party might not able to push him to be pm because they need 65 more votes from senator or opposition parties. As you can see nearly 15 million vote for his party and also want him to be next pm. If senators obstruct him to be pm, senators will pay a hefty price.
