I wish I could have met you in person as we would have been life long friends, maybe I will see you 1 day... I'll check with the Kiosk in Heaven for they will certainly know the man, the legend... Watching these videos and hearing that music in the background is so unreal. It doesn't get any more realistic than this. So glad he filmed these videos. This allows us a glimpse into the past, the way it was. These videos are gold!

Nelson's way of filming really makes it feel like I'm with them. And when he speaks into the cam it really feels like he speaks to me. There's so much stuff from the 80s out there but his videos make that decade so real and he pulls you right in. So thankful for all the footage! If Nelson only knew that we'd have internet like this today and that we are watching all his videos. I'm sure he'd be so happy about it. It's so crazy to think about that he had _no idea_ that his videos would land online on TH-cam for the world to see, but he filmed it like as if he knew.

New generations will never understand. We were honestly bullet proof in the 80s and 90s. We were the children of parents who came out of the 60’s and 70’s lol. Today a ride like that would probably kill some people. We were so wild and free we could anything. I remember zipper rides exactly like this. The operators were relentless and so were the guests. I feel bad for the young folk today that will never get to experience what we had. Life was greater than words could even describe. My god this video gave me some serious nostalgia. Awesome video that made my heart pitter patter a bit.

This is one of the old school Zippers that ran almost twice as fast as they do now. I think the boom runs 7.5 and the cable runs 4 rpms now and when they were first made in the late 60s they ran the boom at 11 & the cable at 7! Once people started sueing for everything they had to make it less intense.. lame haha
