- In this video, Sandi demonstrates making a textured, slab-built tripod pot - a simple, yet elegant, vessel. This clip is excerpted from What If? Explorations with Texture and Soft Slabs with Sandi Pierantozzi, which is available in the Ceramic Arts Network Shop: mycan.ceramica...
Excellent Instruction and video. Thanks very much Super nice finished product too. I am going to try it.

@@yv9348 Your work is pretty.
I love your session on this tripod
This was so well done. I made one of these as my very first hand built items and the woman I learned this from told us to make little balls to push down into the feet! Now I’m afraid there is air trapped in there! I would like to have seen how thick you rolled this out to be and the measurements you use.
Thank you for a very helpful video. I am trying to figure out how to make a soft slab teapot (abstract) and this gave me several helpful ideas.

Thanks for the clip. I enjoyed learning that technique. I have made two and am waiting to see if my trimming form is a good size dimensionally.
Tried the tripod technique yesterday and got a nice result. Thanks!
