Yep! I just saw it on Hulu without certain scene being censored. I was like “damn! I don’t remember that scene when I was kid!” Then again, the only time I saw Predator 2 was on tv so that may explain why.
I love the original Predator score but imo it has been perfected here. It's faster paced, more intense, you can almost feel the oppressive heat and humidity of alt-future LA just through the music.
Basically Silvestri levelled up for this sequel! He most certainly brought his A game and then some. An amazing and iconic score!! It’s truly a masterpiece. Kids, it doesn’t get any better than this!

Seriously, as a composer myself, any texture, chord progression, orchestration technique, instrumental sound palette anything you can think of that you would want to learn more of.. is all in this score. This one and the first predator are both insanely awesome. War of the Worlds is another compositionally educational gem (John Williams)

Espectacular segunda parte, con un Alan Silvestri, en este caso más cálido y más vibrante , en su percusión y una sintonía un tanto más dinámica . La primera con Arnold Schwarzenegger , muy espectacular aunque en los bosques más densos de latinoamérica, le concedió un aire más solemne y al mismo tiempo más acorde a ese entorno natural.
