    I absolutely can not believe that this channel is not blowing up because the content is great. I can really appreciate the love for working on older bikes. This guy covers everything! Engine work, electrical, carbs and custom fab work. It blows my mind that this channel has been sitting at 66k subs. Makes no sense

      It’ll happen, when he hit he got 40,000 subs fast. Consistent content will eventually hit again.

    Another great video! Good information as usual!. I wish this series was available when I rebuilt my 72 cb500 a couple years ago!

    it would be nice if you and everybody else that does this kind of TH-cam video would lose the background music. other than that excellent video I found what I was looking for. Thanks

    You do a lot of carb rebuilds , you might think about a Sonic Cleaner 🤔

    I use an old tub of expired vaseline to "glue" in the o rings, a little will do ya good and it's gas soluble. Works for holding valve spring retainers in or holding screws onto nonmagnetic drivers also. I have an old Honda that runs on 90psi compression, weird right?

      Yeah man that is weird, I guess 90 would probably be the minimum 😂

    Outstanding video! New subscriber here, do you have any tips on how to free the butterflies that are stuck closed on a set of Mikuni carbs? Thanks for your help and keep up the great work:)

    Top end rebuild kit isn’t too expensive for the 500, it’s like $120 from 4into1. Then maybe another $100 in tools for the valve remover, cylinder honing bit, and valve lapping compound

      Should there be a tiny O ring in first where the air adjustment screw and spring go ! Love the show 😊🇮🇪

    I’ve seen so many use EBay carb kits and many of the parts r different

    • @GoldGuyRides
      @GoldGuyRides  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only part that was different here was the idle jet, all the others seem to be the same.

    E-bay carb parts are always junk. I'd stick to K&L or original Honda parts.
