    Thanks you so much for tutorial on 939 !
    If you work on the 159 if possible please can you do a tutorial to show how to replace only the plastic gear on a windows regulator ?! This will save a lot of people having this problem ! Replacing the entire windows regulator because of bad gear is a little bit stupid and it cost so if we can repair only the gear this can save a lot of windows regulator and money 🙏🏻

    The driver side front window reguator cable just broke on my 159, and I have to go on a short trip the day after tomorrow (via highway with tolls). :(
    When I was closing the wndow, it went all the way up and then I head a noise, which souded like the glass had hit the top of the door hard. The electric motor still works, but the window does not move (it is all the way up). It is as if the module did not know that the glass is all the way up and continued to push untill something broke (the cable itself, or the plastic bit that hold the end of the cable, or whatever). What is usually the case here? I don't have much spare time to do troubleshooting, and everything is located behind that metal panel...

      Hello. Usually is the cable that goes. But for all the access difficulties and labour, i recommend you to replace the entire thing.
      Make sure the new window regulator is compatible with the same old motor

      @@alfaromeonoproblem Thank you. I will book it at the dealer. I hope they have the original part.

      @@alfaromeonoproblem The dealer would not even bother. I took the car to the window regulator specialist, and it was the plastic gear of the motor that had broke. It is fixed now.

    Just bought a 07 Brera spider with roof not working and when you get out the drivers window comes down about 3 inch , so I have to open the door and use window switch to raise window up to the top before I can lock it

    • @alfaromeonoproblem
      @alfaromeonoproblem  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If the travel of the roof is not final, it will not close the glass all the way

    So I think that the window sensor in the
    moulding, is a safety circuit, and not the control circuit.

    So if my right window in Brera randomly stops working I should start with a cleaning of window switch module on both sides?

    What do you think about 166 2.5 V6 188hp? One appeared here for 5 thousand. It looks in very good condition. Although no engine bay or floor photos. It is 2004 and done 350 thousand km. I think that I am too poor for that car. I can buy it no problem, do the regular maintenence and repairs no problem. But I think it would drink 15 liters of fuel per 100 km, which would be 1/4 of my sаlаry just on fuel. :(
    And I am worried because it does not have OBD II, not even OBD I, but some pre-OBD I. I would not be able even to access it, and even if I could, who knows what it actually covers. Then it uses old Motronic 2.1 injection system. Who knows if injectors and other parts are available for it and for how much... (Edit: I found new old stock, set of 6 for 350 E, so it is not a problem).
    Because there is no Brera and 159 still, maybe I should get this 166 untill it does. But as I said, I think I am too poor for that car. :(
    You want me to send you an еmаil too see it?
    Or, it has the OBD II? I sent you an еmаil. I think this is a rare opportunity to buy such Alfa, in this good condition (cosmetic one at least). How can I check if the engine is good? I realy want to buy this car. Life is too shiт (and short) too keep waiting...

    • @DashCamSerbia
      @DashCamSerbia ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never mind. I found out that it has a weak crash structure, just like the 156 and 147. So I won't be buying it.

    • @alfaromeonoproblem
      @alfaromeonoproblem  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 166 is the best made car Alfa did so far. Let's see if the Giulia is better if not.
      The engine is very good and yes, very thirsty.
      And it is very good at all levels.
      It had OBD2, yes.
