Elizabeth Krell why can’t they arrest or take the parents in just on the fact the children are missing? They can’t get a search warrant for the children to go on the property? Just mind blowing that 2 kids are no where to be found and the parents are still going about their lives?
@@KN-gl2xk These parents aren't just going about their lives. They have both gone on the run, they are no longer in the state. The local police and FBI recently searched Chad Daybell's property in Rexburg and took a lot of potential evidence with them

Yeah I didn't see that until I read the newspaper articles and then I went oh no. The kids are dead or not in the country. I kind of thought the boy would be dead and maybe the girl has been married off to somebody or is traveling with them just thinking I can stay alive you know but if she said the daughter died. You don't say your kid died to people so there's just one more chance and that's they sent her to a polygamist colony in Canada or possibly even Mexico and she'll play hell getting out of there. It's not against the law in Mexico to have plural wives. It still is against the Church law for Mormons who are active members of the church. We found that out with friends of ours that are from Mexico and they have one wife up here and one wife down there and no big deal and we were shocked. But I guess they never instituted a law about it. And both wives came from the same town in Mexico they know each other and they're Catholic my husband said damn I'm in the wrong religion. Of course we haven't seen him in about 25 years he changed you retired and both he and his wife went back to Mexico to go live with the other wife the kids from the family live all over Southern California and Mexico. They might have changed the law since then and I don't go around asking people what how many miles they got although one of my girlfriends from college was very concerned about her situation she didn't want plural wives she didn't want her husband cheating on her and she was really not happy that her parents were making her marry a a man from Mexico she was American born and live in Mexico

I know this is highly unlikely, but I hope the 17 year old sister took her brother and ran away. Maybe they are hiding because of this crazy religion they were witnessing. Or because their Mom thought she was God. I don’t know, one can hope I guess. Sad either way.

No the children are dead. The ex husband was killed by her brother and Chad's wife was murdered. Then Lori and Chad married. Didn't want the kids. A lot of this story is not being presented.

The young boy is only seven and has autism so why has an AMBER ALERT not been put out yet ?What is the point in having a tool like that and not using it.They believe the kids are in danger so put the AMBER ALERT out already.it should have been done as soon as she didn’t co-operate and let cps or police see the kids.

Amber alerts have a specific criteria, and if I'm not mistaken it includes knowing someone has taken them, along with a description of the vehicle or suspect(s). It was not found they were even missing until late as well so there was no date and no criteria for the public to look out for. So they end up on a missing child poster and use the media.
Sad case for sure.
D Clifford Oh I didn’t know that ,I’m my opinion they should put amber alerts out and just say if you see these two kids call police they are missing and in danger! That’s just my opinion.It is a very sad case and unfortunately as much as I’m hoping they find them safe I have a terrible feeling that they are not going to and please don’t have a go at me for saying that.The reason I say it is coz if they could prove the kids were safe and ok ,why did they run?They would have just gave them the address and peoples names of where they are staying but no they ran . I have been praying for them though,that they are found safe and are able to be with family that will love and take care of them in a normal healthy environment.🙏🏻💟✝️😢
An amber alert would require the description of a car in which the children were last seen in.

The Amber alert is specific due to a story about Amber Hagerman. She was a 9 years old who was taken by someone, and people later recalled seeing her in a vehicle so her life could have been saved.
It grabs peoples attention if they get an amber alert coming over their phones (or the news if not signed up for phone alerts).
I understand your reasoning but the amber alert works due to how seldom it is used and how specific it is. Missing children alerts are put out even if they don’t meet criteria for an amber alert. The only thing is they don’t have those specific details that would warrant a critical alert level to have everyone helping to find a child in those first days.

Flora Lee the females that do that, know that there's ZERO chance that she'd be approved to adopt (obviously for VERY good reasons...), in addition to knowing that there's no way she'd be able to afford all of the fees associated w/ adoption, & they usually decide they want a baby on a whim, & have no interest in waiting (the adoption process takes awhile, start to finish...), so they'll plan on kidnapping a pregnant lady close to delivering, then attempt to cut the baby out of her, or kidnap a newborn baby, & will pretend like they've just given birth & it's her own baby...
Only other reason I've heard of this being done for, & I've unfortunately heard of this being the reasoning, in SEVERAL different cases now, is bc a female is trying to "trap" their partner, or get them back, after being dumped, by convincing them they're pregnant, so they do this disgusting act out of desperation, bc they tell they're partner they're pregnant, then when they're not able to immediately conceive, some will claim a miscarriage, while others keep up the lie, bc they think if they say they've lost the baby, the partner would dump them again if there's no baby involved, so they continue living the lie, having everybody thinking they're pregnant, and realize they have to actually produce a baby, at what should be the end of their pregnancy, so they do this, so their partner will believe it's their baby, bc they think that'll make sure their partner doesn't leave them, bc of the baby.
It's a completely warped way of thinking, & absolutely disgusting & gut wrenching, but they do it bc they know they can't adopt for all of those reasons, but instead of realizing that they can't adopt for good reasons, bc they should never be allowed around any children at all, ESP unsupervised, let alone actually be able to have 1, but they feel like they should still be able to have a baby so they rationalize & justify everything in their own minds & carry out these horrific acts...

If anyone has any interest in either of these cases, both have been covered separately and in depth by a TH-cam "true crimer" who is AWESOME. Her name is Stephanie Harlowe and if you really are interested in a VERY in depth look at several true crimes then check her out! I listen to a lot of channels but hers is by far the most put together, factual channels I have ever seen.

Do you know or just a hunch on the history of not being found in a certain time frame they are usually dead? To say they ARE dead is a bold statement vs thinking they are.

I heard today, from a source who spoke to Magen’s sibling, and they said that she’s still swearing that Margo is her baby!! 😱 That she calls her mother saying that it’s her baby, that this is all a mistake, and it’ll be worked out! And her mother believes her..hmmm >I believe she’s having a lot of conversations about it too, because I know that her Public Defender told her to stop calling her mother!
Anyway, if you talk to anymore lawyers, please ask about the insanity defense, and what would the punishment be, because I have a terrible feeling that that’s where they’re headed with this.. 🤔👎😩

Her public defender would have to file a motion for a mental exam stating the reason why. After the motion is filed an order has to be done by the judge ordering the mental exam done by the state. In the mental exam she will be read her charges and the doctor has to determine whether she know the extent of the crime and the proceedings against her. She will be ask questions about what a jury is and so forth. She may say that baby is hers but realistically it can't be determined if she can stand trial or not. It will definitely delay her case though. Hope that helps

Lori promised Alex money for killing Charles from his life insurance policy. He stayed at her house that week waiting for it. Neighbor heard them “fighting over money” and called police. Alex and chad helped her shoot her kids in the car , that’s why they removed a bloody whole car seat , tires that left tire tracks going to the gravesite where Chad “gravedigger” Daybell buried them. They started to smell in the unit a neighboring storage unit renter complained about the smell thinking an animal died in someone’s unit, and the guns that killed them.She kept the money for herself and Alex knew too much that is why she poisoned him with the same poison found in Chads wife’s body.
As a mom to teens, I don’t understand how either could murder the kids. I’m sure we’ll never know the justification for killing them-or at least we won’t know the *true* reason anyway.
They both have delusions of grandeur, plus she's probably a sociopath or something similar. They think they have inside information on matters spiritual and probably that they (or she) was doing them a favor, or that they got in the way of the greater good. For the average Joe, it just looks crazy. Because it is.

It's hard to hear the man in the plaid shirt sometimes when he is speaking his voice goes lower and lower as he completes his sentence so I keep adjusting the volume bc the man in the suit speaks loud and clear. Just for the record, you do not have to be a genius to graduate high school early. There are schools for "troubled teens" where the requirement is the work, not the time, and they can finish in a year or 2.

I’ve got a cousin whose husband’s kid brother knew these people. Scary.
In the Broussard case, they haven’t charged murder yet because there is no hurry. They still have plenty of time. An attorney I watch explained that she isn’t going anywhere any time soon. They will complete the investigation and then finalize the charges. The possibility a third person was involved I absolutely agree. I think someone held that baby and threatened to hurt her if Magen didn’t cooperate. It’s so very sad. People need serious help.

I think you mean Lori's 3rd husband (not Tammy's) and I believe that is true. Also, from what I understand, Charles her 4th husband, was cremated too. But at least he was smart enough to change his life insurance policy and had her name removed from it before his death.

They actually found them about maybe a week ago. They’re planing on moving to Mexico, still no update on kids sadly. FBI has them on the no fly list so hopefully something good comes out of this.

This is so sad. And the pictures they have of the kids beak my heart- they have an actual picture of the daughter, but of the son, it looks like one of those created images, which makes me think that the jerk "raising" him, didn't even care enough to take/ have pictures of him! I have COUNTLESS pictures of my kids & so do many other people, bc I txt them out to show them off, so if, God forbid, anything should ever happen to any of my kids, there'd be tons of current pics to pick from & give to the news/ police....Could they really not find a single pic of lil JJ? I don't understand how those creeps were able to get away with what they did for so long, & how the kids were able to be missing for so long, before anybody even thought to check/ look...

I think theres very few lawyers that do that. In most cases they just try to work with the accused to either get plea deals, eventual parole etc. Either way the jury chooses whether or not they believe whats being said. And its not even that easy to be selected for the jury. if there is a reasonable doubt then its due process to have it be investigated. More likely and also sad are people who cannot afford decent legal counsel and end up pleading guilty or no contest. Etc to something they didn't do or had to do in self defense
