      Beverly, there are good pastors out there who care and who follow the tenets of the church - not religion - and who honor God. Your comment, while I completely understand where you’re coming from, is not fair in it’s totality. Just like saying all cops are evil and murderers. They’re not all that way. A few bad apples, ie. murderers, don’t ruin the whole bunch thank God.

      I was brought up in a strict Catholic home, going to church every Sunday and any Holy Days. When I finished college and moved out of my parent's home I still went to church but when I was in my late twenties I stopped going. I became very disenchanted with the Catholic church due to their handling of the child sex abuse cases but I didn't lose my faith in God. I am against organized religion but not against faith in God. To my surprise, my very devout Catholic parents completely understood how I felt and agreed that I didn't need to go somewhere specific to pray.

Judas claims he was the most valiant of the apostles because he was given the most difficult task of betraying Christ(Jesus did say one of the apostles in the room would betray him, Judas took that as an assignment?... why?).. Judas I don't think believed his own argument as much as he just wanted to believe it. the motive for Judas was probably money.

    One of my siblings is in a kind of prepper cult. I have walked in on her while she was obviously lost in a daydream and when I asked if she was ok, she dreamily looked at me and said some very strange things. She was obsessed with finding a certain style of suitcase that can be brought to their meeting place on the day. My point is, she literally lives for the day when this world will end and her new life will begin in the new system of things, as she calls it. I understand just how far down the rabbit hole some people can go when they are caught up in a group mentality of being special and chosen. I cannot even be around her now for all her death mongering. Their thoughts are not the same as other people. Its total brainwashing.

A lady from my ward said to me “Jordan never got better because you didn’t have the faith to heal him” I just stared her down and said “No I have so much faith God trusted me with a perfect Angel!” My husband is the only one still in the church. When Joni Erackson Tada was first paralyzed she went to a few “healing” worship services. More than one person told her she was not healed because of her lack of faith. God has used her in magnificent ways to touch the lives of others. And it is because of her paralysis not in spite of it. Paul prayed for his own healing and was never healed of his affliction. Would those self righteous people say he lacked faith?

    This sounds eerily similar to the cult of Scientology. Although they don't go for the "God" stuff etc, they also believe in "healing in the spiritual realm", "getting rid of spirits" and other weirdo stuff on their upper secretive levels (which cost parishioners upwards of $750,000 to achieve). I was born into the cult and leaving it was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. I lost every single friend I had - including family members - they utterly "shun" you if you leave and in fact will come after you in a terrible way if you dare speak out. "Total disconnection" is the only way you can make it out - including running the risk of losing your children - forever (thank heavens my own children all left with me). I feel for this poor woman - I know what she went through - and I am so glad she escaped. Good for her!

Just as the Churches located in family homes, etc in the Bible (we use the KJV), those early Saints (all converts) respected the representatives of Jesus Christ, His Apostles. I love the writings of the Apostle Paul. He spoke with authority to say, "if you don't learn the Gospel from me, it is not truth. (paraphrased, of course.) • @markh.harris9271
      @markh.harris9271 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      She was killed the same way JJ was... first she was sedated (date drug) then a large kitchen trash bag was placed around her sleeping head and secured with duct tape. She died of asphyxia; the timing had to be just right, so that a hurried autopsy would fail to find the asphyxia... depending on the sedative used there may not have even been a trace in her dead body. Alex was probably killed the same way.
      The clue is the way they found JJ. He wasn't supposed to be found. So, they didn't remove the 'weapon' bag from his head; rather, they just wrapped the body (and the murder weapon) in the second black plastic trash bag. With Alex and Tammy, they had to make the murders look like natural causes;
      It is unconscionable that the coroner would rush the autopsies for burial; the coroner may be complicit too-- who knows.
      I am 97% sure that these murders were committed with kitchen trash bags and some form of "date" drug as a sedative.

      Jesus has said...there are no 'religions'. Religions are 'man made'. There is only the 'word of God'. God's word is 'love'. Not fear and hate. Jesus has said he was a teacher of the 'word of God'. Not a particular religion. I believe just because Jesus was marked a Jew by 'man' doesn’t make him necessarily a Jew. Following any 'man made' prophecies is going against the 'word of God'. Putting any 'man' on a higher realm even close to God is wrong. Man, for some reason, needs a 'place to belong'. So, man has created all these different religions and big ass churches in order to belong somewhere. Some of these 'men' have personally benefited by speaking out and gathering groups to follow their word. Not necessarily the 'word of God'. These 'men' are often charismatic and are able to get others to follow. There are these type of 'men' in every religion. Through history there have been some 'men' who have risen to such a high status in their group the followers loose site of God. An example is Joseph Smith. The Pope. Jesse Jackson. Jim Jones. L.J. Hubbard. The list is endless. They exist in every organized religion on earth. Some have done good, but most have not. No one has to belong to a 'religion' to believe in God. Following any word other than Gods true word is wrong. Take all the 'rules', which are all 'man made' in the various religions is not following the 'word of God'. Not eating meat on Friday is an example of a 'man made' word. There are millions of these man made rules in the various religions. They are not the 'word of God'. People who follow any word other than the 'word of God' are truly 'sheeple'. These men who get others to follow their word are doing so for other reasons than to spread the word of God. Greed and power. The followers are people who have lost their way and are looking for something or someone to tell them what to do. It is baffling why anyone would follow another man and give that man all their money so that man can become rich and tell you what you can think and do. But it continues to happen. As far back as written history goes, there have been 'men' like this. Is it possible God will come again one day and give earth's people another good thrashing? Definitely. Is it going to be July 2020 as the leaders of this cult in question have claimed? I guess if July comes and goes the answer will be no. 🤦🏻‍♀️ from what I have read and believe things will get much worse than what is happening now for God to return. Are things on earth getting ugly? Yes, most definitely. I think God is testing us and if we can’t turn things around then he will have no choice but to re-start things again. All he asks of us is to 'love'. Stop fearing and hating. Stop destroying fellow man. Stop destroying earth. Follow the Ten Commandments. Stop false prophesying. Stop following anyone but God.

      Sadly, I think her laugh is a bit self-deprecating (in a way) still. The interviewer did an excellent job here and when she laughed, he comfortingly told her she didn't have to laugh. They'd obviously had in-depth discussions before this interview - I'm guessing she may have had a say in editing as well, or at least authorizing exactly what bits they could use.
      She's struck by the absurdity of how she got sucked into it and nervous laughter came up at moments like this.
      I agree she is incredibly brave to speak so openly and honestly about her own experiences when she's obviously still healing - as one would from any abusive relationship.

    This lady is so impressive and inspirational. She seems so normal mentally having gone through all of this. I know she feels shame and guilt etc. (she mentioned that), but she really seems like she's finding her way out. It's so encouraging to see this because it shows how someone so deeply emotionally abused by the dark side of religion and people (which can be counted in the millions across the world) can get themselves out. Kudos to you young lady. I get why you would cover your face, but I wish I could see it. You are truly inspirational.

    For people who don't know much about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, one of the aspects of this case that I haven't heard people talking about is this weird idea that people would be coming to Chad for his "unique healing gifts". It's no wonder this man was ex-communicated. Perhaps in other religions this would be considered normal, but in the church generally the teachings are that healing comes from God, and since it comes from God it should essentially be equal no matter who you go to. There might be legitimate reasons you might want one specific person to give you a blessing over another person, such as having a certain level of trust or a certain level of rapport, but the second someone is being put forth as a special healer that is generally a sign of priestcraft and someone having the pride of thinking THEY are the ones providing the healing rather than God, which is completely inappropriate. That alone is a HUGE red flag in the church.

    LOVE your interviews Nate. Miss Linda of It's A Crime is as you know a big fan and I'm so glad she's talked about and recommended your channel. This insanity aka the Vallow Daybell Horror Show has me totally immersed in what seems like a script for a really bad movie. And the fact that it's real is so far beyond anything in my lifetime, that I find myself literally obsessed with every detail and terrified those monsters will somehow go free or accept a plea deal for a lighter sentence. I can't imagine how it is for you, being on the front line and having to interact with some of the "players". I could never do what you do and I'm thankful for your insight into this insanity. Bravo! 🙏👏👏👏🙏

      Ester Ndena Except for when God does - because the Lord Jesus Christ is alive and He does communicate. But the Holy Bible - and I mean the King James Bible, not some watered down translation or any cult’s reworking of it - warns to “test all spirits, whether they be of God”- 1 John 4, because there are demonic spirits masquerading as angels of light. God never contradicts Himself, so if what’s being said is not Scriptural, it is not of God. 💕🐑👑🙏

      Cynthia Perras there is no god. We’re biological beings who, when we die, decompose into the earth. We’ve got one shot here at life, if you need a make believe idol to maintain morality in your life you have self esteem, self worth issues. Try believing in yourself instead of a fairy tale ghost in a book written by men for self aggrandizement, financial gain, power and control.
