Well, Oregon has many roads around Crater Lake and other parts of the coast. There are no guard rails, and the drops off could be anywhere from 100 to 500 foot drops. That's a might bit concerning.
Yes…Colorado is stunningly beautiful! I have traveled there many times. But before you call it “heaven on earth” you need to visit California. From the incredible ocean views at Sunset Cliffs and La Jolla Cove in San Diego to Sequoia National Park in the High Sierras to Lake Tahoe on the CA/Nevada border to Yosemite National Park to the seaside valleys of Carmel and Monterey, to the gorgeous deserts to the south and so on….you will find CA to be nothing less than an extraordinary wonder. The diverse beauty is unbelievable!
Native here also. But unfortunately it’s not heaven either because the cost of living is crazy! When I left for active duty I knew I’d never be back except to visit!🐾
YES☝️ JUST TELLING THE TRUTH..CALI..IS💖💖 IS BEAUTIFUL💝..JUST LIKE ANY OTHER STATE. THERE ARE UP☝️ AND DOWNS👇..IF YOU LOVE NICE WEATHER..CALI🥰 CALI🥰 IS THE PLACE AN THAT 💯💯💯💯💯💯 AMEN💫
Hawaii takes it for me. How can anyone look up at night and see the deep sapphire blue skies flittering with diamonds, see a rainbow dancing across the moon, and not know that God exists? Seriously, it seemed almost cartoonish it was so magical. And to look down a densely green mountainous valley, seemingly as far as the eye can see, that too was a deeply profound testament. This journey you are on, which is your life, is indeed a spiritual one. Your fasting, and reading choices, all speak life as to who you are as a person. No doubt having witnessed, who knows what, it's obvious you are seeking peace and alignment with your higher self. I also find you to be enigmatic and wish you Godspeed. 💜❤
Nomi, thank you for blessing us with your journey! I truly enjoy watching your happiness and appreciate you making us all feel like part of your experience! Colorado is so beautiful and the state is blessed by your presence. 🙏🏻♥️
I have really bad anxiety and could not drive in the Colorado mountains. I 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 you Nomi for your bravery and safely making it out of the mountain roads. I would have had a panic attack frfr. OMG!!! the scenery of the mountains were breathe taking 😮 I felt like I was there with you. Can't wait for your next adventure on the road 🚐 take care and be safe my friend 🙏🏼🥰❤️💛✌🏼 Thank you 💖 for sharing your AMAZING content 🤗
@laonn3579 I was thinking the same thing as I was watching the no edge roadway. She is brave. I couldn't do it. I attribute my hesitation to age though lol. Beautiful views indeed!
I can ride my bike forever watching this. Pure Bliss, Music & Nomi on the road JUST WOW!!! Your A Lifesaver If only you knew how much WE LOVE YOU. Be Well 🙏
Ooh I was scared when you were driving with no barriers up. Yikes!! Wow Aspen is so beautiful with the water, mountains capped with snow, beautiful trees. You make me want to go there now. The scenery would make me feel so humble. Thank you for sharing your journey with us Nomi. Stay safe!!❤
My second oldest brother drove to Los Vegas with two of his sons and he said NEVER again!!! He was so upset once he got to the hotel to the point of him having to take some meds to calm him down~ Kudos to YOU~one awesome driver!!!!
Hi Nomi, how've you been? I appreciate you taking us on the journey with you. You made the drive look effortless. Worthy of all the gems the world has to offer you. Stay safe and hydrate❣️
Thank you Nomi. My heartfelt gratitude to you for taking us along with you. I've been there and due to declining health I'm no longer able to make the trip again. Didn't think I would ever see it again but thanks to you it was like I could feel the fresh coldness and my lungs full of that sweet air once again. It took me back to a wonderful time in my life and I couldn't help but cry happy tears. Thank you. Lots of hugs for your kindness❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow that is crazy imagine riding on that road at night! You wouldn't even know about that dropoff! WOW!! Beautiful ride though, thank you for sharing! I like watching your videos and have learned a lot from you about van life.
OMGG those driving edits mixed w/ that song was just amazing makes me feel like I'm right there in the passenger seat❤❤😂😂 Thanks so much @Nomi many blessings 🙌😊😊
Hi there Nomi, I'm so glad that you are feeling better and you are adjusting to everything. The view is so very beautiful, but the winding narrow roads look so scary! But please be safe and enjoy yourself . ❤God bless you. 🙏
Maroon Bells are so beautiful. I think the most beautiful mountains I have ever seen ❤. Glad you are feeling better. Yes water is key and plenty of it. Enjoy your time here in Colorado. Oh my that drive was something else! Otherwise very beautiful. Thank you for tagging us along! 😊 Be safe and be careful ❤ Have fun.
Hey Nomi, That road gave me secondhand shock, and the views at Maroon Bells was breathtaking. You truly bless me with your content. Thank you, and God bless. 🐢
Baby! You ain’t no joke. Knowing you made it through those curves I was still praying for you while watching. Crazy thing it’s snows like crazy there so think if you’re were driving there in middle of February in the snow. My God! Thanks for blessing us with this video. It’s a bumper sticker I use to see and it says Jesus is my copilot. He was definitely yours during that beautiful drive.
Lol. We did that part of the drive this past Oct. I still can’t talk about it. Lol. We also drove from Estes park through the mountains on a very beautiful scenic ride. Swishbacks I’m still scared. Lol.
That toast and jelly with scrambled eggs looks delicious! I must try it with I Can’t Believe It’s not Butter! My fav! I love Aspen, but am terrified of the drive up! Don’t go to Rocky Mountain National Park if you don’t like having your fingernails digging in you hands while driving!💖
I remember back when I first drove those mountain roads in Colorado, and some of them had me literally crying for my mom...no room for era. But the Beautiful scenic views were well worth it. THANKS for sharing. 😊
Those cliff side roads! 😝 there are so many beautiful places to visit in this country. But I think you are going to see much of it. Enjoy the freedom to travel.
You are one brave woman!! We were driving up to cling man’s dome in the smokies and I made my husband turn around.. couldn’t do it!! But your views were breathtaking!! Be safe and enjoy!!💚🌸💚
Nomi I feel you. 17 years ago I had to drive 100 miles north up the coast of Cali from San Francisco thru the redwoods in the rain and dark due to a flight arriving late. To this day it was the most scary, stressful drive of my life, and I’m an excellent driver. Like you, I said never again. 🫣😳 Lol…It too was a beautiful drive.
This video made me laugh, smile and I wanted to cry a little........ It makes my heart so happy that you're enjoying my lovely state! Those roads ain't no joke! Just focus and don't let your eyes wonder unless you're on a straight stretch! Oh, I always tell my daughter, "go the speed you're comfortable at, they can pass if they want to and they can't push you up the road!" You take care, don't get blown away (I know the wind sucks) and thanks for taking us with you......... Peace!
You got down on this one, Nomi 💯 this is one of my favorites, if not my favorite. The scenery, the drive, the music, the editing, the experience... Perfecto❤ Thank you for taking us along.
I totally agree with you. I have been to Colorado when I was a kid but I’ve never been as an adult & watching your video I agree that it’s the closest thing to heaven. I honestly thought it looked like another country but you hit the nail on the head when you said Heaven! Simply beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us!
I agree with you on some of these roads w/ no guard rails, and pot holes. Good grief. You’ll be be safe hon, steady as you go. You got there to see Maroon Bells.
Thank you for those dazzling views of Aspen! Sorry your drive up there was so difficult. I also remember my Dad driving those mountain roads when I was little, and my mother being terrified of those drop-offs with no guard rails). On the subject of food, I have eaten my scrambled eggs with strawberry preserves for the past few months, ever since I saw you doing that, and I love it! Unlike many people, I never cared for ketchup on my eggs, but sometimes I would use sour cream. However, strawberry preserves on eggs tastes even better than the sour cream topping to me.
You are not kidding about the treachery that is those roads! The guardrails that were there were pretty banged up. Thanks for letting us see! Be careful and enjoy the majesty of the Rocky Mountains!
Independent Pass-it’s a gorgeous drive for sure. As an FYI-several other passes in Colorado are similar: Red Mountain (Ouray to Silverton), Coal Bank & Molas (Silverton to Durango), Lizard Head (Telluride to Dolores), Wolf Creek Pass (Pagosa Springs to South Fork), and Trail Ridge Road (in Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park to Granby). There are plenty of other small passes, so make sure they’re open & passable in your vehicle. Enjoy!
Me too sweetie , sweet and Salty!!! Thank u for this video , you filmed some beautiful scenery today. You looked so close to those snow capped mountains . How perfectly lovely. I have been there. That drive is so scary. I'm too old now , my nerves couldn't take it !! I love u baby , stay safe and go slow on those roads !!!
I am originally from Colorado I just watched your video where you went to the bells in Aspen and you were talking about that narrow winding road with no guardrails going from Colorado springs to Aspen well if you think that's bad don't try taking the one that goes from Colorado springs to cripple Creek which is a casino area because those roads are very narrow and very windy and very scary and you only got one road into cripple Creek and one road out and it's the same scary road
You're just getting started - be prepared to continue being amazed by this beautiful country. I have driven across the country a half dozen times (always a different route) and I am always amazed, impressed and gobsmacked by how beautiful our country is. IMHO
Whoo! That's what I kept saying. As you were driving and showing the drop-offs. Whoo! And then again when you showed us the view from Maroon Bells. Whoo! God's artistry is breathtaking. Stay safe and amazed, Nomi.
Wow Nomi, The scenery was amazing… thank you for driving those roads, to show us … I can’t imagine driving in the winter on those icy roads… you are really conquering your fears girlfriend🤙🏼 we are all very proud of you, it’s so nice to have water in your van or you can take a shower when you want you don’t have to go looking for the planet fitness … take care and drive safe. What a magestic view of Colorado. The drive was terrifying going around those sharp curves and then there were times there was no railing at all. I would have shit my pants. Thank you for allowing your base to really see the beauty of Colorado.
MY MOUTH WAS WIDE OPEN WHEN YOU WERE DRIVING!!!!! I’m like OHHHHHH MYYYY GOOODNESS!!!! I would have froze. I could never. I guess that’s the only way to get there and I’d love to visit!!!!!! Thank you for showing that. Scary drive!!!!!!!

That road in the beginning looks so dangerous without a guard rail!😳
My thoughts exactly!
Actually that road was not that bad, we have scarier ones. I guess I have lived in Colorado too long, you get used to it.
Omg like driving through the mountains of Jamaica no gard rails so scary
Yeah...but she drove it in the best of conditions. Id think twice if it was raining and stay home if theres snow or ice 😱...
Well, Oregon has many roads around Crater Lake and other parts of the coast. There are no guard rails, and the drops off could be anywhere from 100 to 500 foot drops. That's a might bit concerning.
