Grooming Standards for Hotel Industry II Both Male & Female

What is Grooming? People are talking about it daily, regularly etc etc. its not some Rocket science. Putting in very simple words grooming means how you feel about your looks & personality.
For example : try think when you are ill and you are lazy, not getting ready for anything etc etc. Right, I believe I gave you the idea of how you feel at that moment. Similarly, when you are going to your best friend’s birthday party, how do you feel. Yes..!!
This bad and good feeling only makes you select the clothes. You don’t wear something and feel bad. You are not feeling great that’s the reason you choose certain clothes.
So, When you want to Groom yourself for an interview, understand your feeling first, try to make yourself happy and select those clothes which compliments your happy feeling and are also fit for the interview.
Now, talking about the grooming, there are any types, one of them is Personal grooming: It is essential for everyone irrespective of the gender and nature of profession. Personal hygiene, if neglected can ruin your personality. Would you feel like speaking to someone who has bad breath or someone who has sweat stains all over his shirt? I am sure the answer would be a big NO. The same goes with others as well. So take care of your body, visit salons and wear beautiful suits then what ……. Flaunt your clean, simple yet elegant look.
General Grooming Standards for Male and Female
Wear a mild perfume
Trim the nails
Wear minimal make up
Clean your hands, feet and take care of finger as well as toe nails
Male professionals need to:
Shave Daily/Trim mustache or beard
Comb hair properly
Wear crisp, wrinkle free shirts preferably in subtle colors and well fit trousers in blacks, blues or grey.
Female professionals need to:
Tie hair in a neat ponytail or bun.
Wear flats to work.
Get rid of facial hair or hair in any other body part (hands, legs, area around the lip)
Preferably use a transparent nail paint.
Avoid wearing loud colors to work. Casuals, chunky jewelry, stacks of bangles, multiple chains /bracelets are strict no no at workplaces. Corporate dressing along with personal grooming help you create a presence that exudes professionalism, leadership, confidence and elegance.

2:26 Shampoo everyday??? are you nuts? Koi nutritionist agar ye video dekh le na jail ho jayega bhai!! Please do not shampoo your hair everyday as a hotelier. Your hair will get more damaged. Shampoo your hair twice or once in a week. Depends on your hair thickness. Oiling of hair is important but not more than its necessary.
