Hakumen does have a hard time cause of his dash, but, there is a way to make his dash a Blink, and yes, its as broken as it sounds, just forgot the needed potentials
I find Hakumen on hard mode pretty much requires you to get the dash I-frame potential. Without it (at least for me), I can't seem to beat a run with him unless I get absurdly lucky with the build. And even then, I usually come out of it battered and bruised. Also, that max entropy and getting every corruption was brutal. Now we wait for Taokaka. I hope she's as much of a rushdown monster here as she is in the main games.
great run and great parries! I would recommend using the charged attack more though, in the first levels it oneshots and one of my favourite potential makes the charged attack send a shockwave. If you pair it with the potential that gives you third strike after dash or jump, you can basically spam shockwaves, since the third strike can be charged and faster than normal

it's looks like when you play Hakumen, you playing a different game. Not able to doge, but still can parry with the Iframes. (you can use your SP skill at 50SP, so you can basically ult twice) Glad you back tho❤

Something that needs to get fixed with the frozen status is that attacks from enemies still have lingering hitboxes. It doesn't affect just the timing of things coming out when you freeze them, but if you freeze in the middle of an attack that whole zone is an invisible and constant attack sadly. At least in my experience.
Ironclads stance is actually based on Hakumens. One of the devs at one point confirmed that Ironclad resembles Hakumen quite a bit as he was a fan of the design and stance. You've got a good eye for it.
Do not forget the heavy attack bro by holding attack button, it's hakumen best attack, gets you though the early game EZ, also have a lot of cool synergies, all the char have an heavy attack if you hold attack button
Im so hype for Taokaka! Edit: After 200 you have a short timer that if the room isnt cleared in time you take true tick damage and eventually you die. Edit: Hakumen isnt the most suitable for some of fhe air bosses. (Most) It feels ucky when trying to fight that damn Eye with him even if you win. Ucky feelings are ucky.

( down + dash ) i literally got the 3 blink upgrade to it and just spammed it va susano'o when paired with yukikaze and Jinrai i took nearly no dmg cause id just parry anything as i stopped blinking and blink some more
so you probably would have had an easier time if you hadnt passed up all those heavy attack synergies that gave your heavy attack shockwaves and ranged options. I have noticed that with this game you tent to flat out ignore any basic attack synergies or heavy attack synergies, and take the dash and Air ones. This game seems to promote balanced builds rather than hyper focusing a single thing.

before watching the video i do say from my experience with hard mode, damn the safety timer thing is really annoying with how you have to keep the corruption low or otherwise you suffer a lot from having no time to to fight at all and god damn the bosses have so much hp ( mosty the third ones the eye tentacle thingy and arakune just have so god damn much hp) but well it is hardmode 19:05 : yes what they said is correct if you ignore it you can't even get past the second boss fight even you you pass the boss fight you will just die before the third one regardless of what you do unless you lower it 22:46 ; oh you did actually get arakune . . . well you won so that's fine but if i get arakune i just can't seem to live i either lose my revive or just lose the run since some of the runs just don't have enough damage to deal with that 170k hp bar . . . btw arakune sure talks a lot more in hardmode compared to normal mode i didn't notice him talking in normal at all but in hardmode even though i don't understand what he is saying i get the feeling he is mocking me lol 44:11 : beelz did you in fact know that the cold and freeze stuff in fact have nothing to do with your problem lol ? the thing you are mad at hakuman parry/dash debuff that stops the enemy in place like skuls freeze. in this game must of the freeze stuff in fact doesn't do that from what i seen also > cold < and > freeze < are 2 different effects in this game cold slows down the enemy while freeze stops them like stun from skul. --- a few min later in the boss after . . . wait a minute what even is that ? i never seen cold or freeze do that lol - - - a few minute after checking the scene many times : wait is that because of jin unique freeze ? i never used jin legacy skill so that's my only guess but i do think that jin freeze works compeletely differently then normal freeze since i never seen freeze do that

If you get Rakurai and another potential you can get invulnerability on the third jump and cheese the whole game.

I actually think Es has the best Dash build from what I've experienced.
Yeah Es is also really good, but I just like Jin or 11 because it's more spammy and thus more silly. Es is good because Gallahad does crazy damage

In my opinion, Es turned out to be the strongest character in the game. She was the character I beat on Hard Mode for the first time.

Will entropy effect get an English dub? I miss those voice actors and they really helped to make the game feel alive
