Gentaro's eyes are indeed the proof of his cleverness. When I look at recent his lonely eyes, I wonder if he senses by instinct the time of his own departure from the family gets closer. His gentle and good personality for this family has been so grateful that I feel sad to think of his absence in near future. Now, I have nothing but pray his good fortune wherever he will go✨💖💖 Lovely Gentaro !!
@@cologne_jasmin3046 You're welcome, Jasmin. ☺️🌺 I can't think of anything else with such an adorable and clever blackback gorilla who will soon be a beautiful silverback. 💞🦍Gentaro is and will always be my favorite gorilla. 💞🥰 Greeting ☺️🕊️🍀💚🌺
I love Gentaro more every day. I used to watch for Momotaro but Gentaro, especially, and the rest of the family have grown on me. They are all very cute
Gentaro has reached the age where he will soon become a silverback and I think both he and Momotaro sense that it might be time to separate. Gentaro is always deferential to Momo and that is more proof he knows he will never be a dominant male in this family. Although I believe two silverbacks can be part of the same family, but Momotaro would always be the dominant one and Gentaro could never mate in that family, even if another female would be introduced. She would "belong" to Momotaro, (even though he doesn't seem too interested in mating even with Genki!! LOL) as is the culture of gorilla society. So yes, I think Gentaro is feeling something that gives him the need to be on his own. It's only natural.
Energetic Kintaro, showing us what makes him a very special little gorilla. We even got to see one of his famous leaps from the slanted window into the safety net. Gentaro showing us how he's grown into a wonderful blackback.
Great video. Kintaro-the perfect “child ambassador. The camera loves him. He’s mischievous, kind, goofy, a fearless acrobat, but is still child enough for any strange new sound to send him running straight to his mother’s side. For me, Kintaro is the absolute star in this family. My hope is this zoo will do whatever necessary to create an environment that raises healthy, adaptive gorillas. It’s the only way they will ever be taken off the endangered species list. Teach skills that prepare for the day when they are no longer in captivity and will not just survive but thrive independently.
I don't believe this family is ever going to be released to the wild. They are more ambassadors to protest those already in the wild from habitat loss and poaching. However, I would like to see all the zoos that have gorillas provide larger enclosures with a more jungle like environment. They don't need a lot of room, because they are well fed and don't have to move around to forage for food, but some of the other zoos that have gorillas don't have what I would consider good environments. Some spend a lot of time in concrete rooms.
@@MHarenArt of course. Beginning to invest in better enclosures and teaching survival skills is not for any current gorillas in captivity to be released in the wild. The goal is that one day gorillas will have a natural habitat safe from Man’s destruction. They have to start now developing programs that prepare gorillas for that. At least to prepare for a sanctuary setting.
I watch videos of gorillas at other zoos. I think one of the Dutch zoos and the Taipei zoo have the best outdoor enclosures. They're also multi-species.
💞🦍 Gentaro, my dear big boy, with the sad eyes, I feel for you❣️ I hope that your life will take a good turn soon and that you will be happy. Even if it means leaving your beloved little brother Kintaro 🐒 and your parents. 🦍🦍😔 When the time comes, hopefully I'll find out where you're moving to and who will be filming you and your new family. Then I will follow you. I wish you good luck and a beautiful life.🦍🥰🌺☺️💚🍀🕊️

Poor Kintaro... Rightly-so, he saw the equipment and probably thought he was being saved from the Concrete & Steel I-Beam Prison. I can see his anticipation at being saved; little did he know that equipment wasn't there to rescue him, it was there to mock his Deplorable Incarceration. Let us all pray 🙏. Gentaro is older, he knew better...

ニュースなのかな?
テレビ欄をチェックしておこう!😆
Does Kintaro still sleep next to Genki at night? I ❤ this family! ❤ 🦍
Not quite sure but he sleeps next to Genki when napping at noon. Possibly does he at night.
Thank you. I bet it won’t be long before he doesn’t anymore. Just my thought.
I feel sorry for him. He’s so lonely. He just wants his dad’s love.
またNHKで特集されるのかな(っ `꒳´ c)?

Equatorial Africa doesn't sound like a great place to live. I'd rather be in the zoo.
