This ED is surprisingly powerful, considering how simple it is. With just a few still images of Subaru's first meeting with Emilia, his expression change, and then the Appa Salesman indicating a restart, we can tell that losing the experiences and relationships he has with others pains him a lot. The scene of Subaru weakly reaching for the seemingly dead Emilia's hand, only for her to clutch back, gets me every time. Hell, there's even a bit of foreshadowing in the positioning of the characters.

Not really, it is too much of a coincidence to put those 3 who have serious relationship with Echidna into the same frame in a season where Echidna is nowhere to be seen. I think it was intentional since there are a lot of foreshadowing and symbolism in Re:Zero
Yeah, just started this anime i really love the character development, i was so tired of overpowered main characters. I actually really enjoy watching him struggle and suffer to get through all these problems it’s so enjoyable.
This made me cry (being serious). Literally one of the top best ending songs and one of the best ending too cuz the last scene wasn’t rushed and wasn’t so dramatically acted.

even though this anime is 5 years old, when I hear this ending it sounds like a nostalgia for something I watched in my childhood
I was skeptical about watching this when it came out so I didnt watch it until 3yrs after but now Im a fan and I know how stupid I was not to watch it the first time around. Truly a MASTERPIECE❤❤❤
it was not easy since there are a lot of isekai shit out there. Once in a while there is a real masterpiece but only time can tell what are really good and what is just shit.
