Afterwards he will commit suicide and wake up in the real world and that he was in a coma due to a car accident. 2. Subaru will be able to re-imprison the witch in his body. Something will make sure that he will not simply re-spawn. He commits suicide, waking up in the real world and that he was in a coma due to a car accident.
Probably because while Emilia is nice, Rem actually helped Subaru, it's not really because of who Subaru cares about but who would actually make the better partner, and rem was significantly better both in personality and actions, at least in my opinion and I would say many others. Who knows maybe Emilia will make a comeback.
well people liked rem so much that the author made a rem rout where rem went with Subaru when he asked for her to go with him and guess what they had 2 half children babies. it MIGHT be cannon it might just be made for fans it might be a alternate timeline but either way the rem and Subaru has technically already sailed

It is violently sad towards the main character who suffers a lot. But its not senseless, its real scenarios (in his world) where basically anyone of us would have suffered the same fate. We're supposed to sympathize and be left in shock and horror while trying to wonder, would we be able to the same? Continue to fight on forward or perhaps give up and just let it all end and run away. It's a good anime especially if you can get over the gory scenes..
