I was soo mesmerized watching you do all those layers!! The paper one when framed in black is stunning!! I love watching you make marks, then smear them out a bit to create that mysterious look that's so uniquely you!! Thank You Cheryl~!! ~❤~ 😊
thank you so much for your continued support!! I also think layers and that back and forth dance of making marks, covering them up and making more is so much fun!!! Thank you for watching and commenting

@@CherylWilsonArt it’s been home for decades. 🙏🏽 You inspired me to start 2 new minimalist paintings! I particularly noticed your use of the scrapers this morning, and it made a difference in my own results! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🩷🙏🏽
I love that!!!! the scrapers really do give a certain feel that encourages the marks to react!! I am so happy you were inspired. That means so much to me to inspire someone
Peggy, do you share any of your work on our FB group? I know you comment often. I'd love to see some of your work if you care to share. Thank you again for your support, I feel like we are friends for sure
Thanks for sharing this, Cheryl, showing both paper and canvas. I really love how your tools move on paper. I'm curious: do you sell more works on paper, or on canvas?
I actually sell more on canvas. I do sell my paper pieces and mainly roll them, not framed. I will sell them matted. I have people ask for home tours and I sell a lot to local people I meet. I sell to people from Instagram, TH-cam, local galleries, some on line galleries, and people I meet locally. It is a constant marketing, but I love it.
Apologies for my lateness, but I absolutely love your marks and your technique. I've personally chosen to focus on moody pieces, as they truly speak to my heart and bring me so much joy. I know it's a bit of an oxymoron, but it's how I feel. I can't believe I haven't discover this sooner. lol but it's my own personal art journey and everyone has one.. smile
Thanks for sharing! It is incredible to really hon in on your personal style! And to know you are painting authenticity you!!!! I appreciate you so much for supporting me as a member and subscriber!
I found it. Antoni Tapies-also expensive. Thank you for replying. I learn a lot from your videos and your positive attitude. Yes, continue on. I really liked your use of high flow, dirty water.

Thanks Cheryl, for another fabulous video. I love minimal pieces & some of mine turn out "semi minimal" - if that's such a thing.😀
