Better QoL ( filtering overall, menu streamed - put on a hotkey ), less restricted cosmetics ( buy a said gender cosmetic and you can use it on the same gender - Dinosaur skin), variety of weekly loot table to include weapons with a fixed gold/yellow stat on it while other 3 still random and instead of nerfing, just buff to be more inline with others.

As a warframe veteran, there are a lot of things to improve, but there is one thing that really annoys me, the DR. In warframe, after opening a relic in a group, you can choose between any of the 4 rewards (1 reward for each team member). So, if you are looking for a forma bp but your friend is lf a warframe part and you end up getting the warframe part and your friend gets the bp, I can select his reward and he can select my reward, so the farming is not excruciating. Yesterday, I was lf a crystallization bp, after opening 16 amorphous, I got no bp at all. The bp dr is 15-20% (according to the chosen amorphous), after 16 attemps I was expecting to receive at least one bp. It has been like that to everything for me, I don't even wanna talk about the ultimate descendants, their parts are impossible to drop.
@@Ed-ealmighty Sorry mate, but it's a Korean developed game. I have never once seen a black playable character in any Korean game I've played. No idea why, it's kinda messed up...
I enjoyed it at first. However after finishing the storyline the grind destroyed my morale. Spending an hour or more trying to get a 20% drop for a loot box to do another event that also has a 20% to open the loot box is draining.
Idk the grind could get draining but I like it cuz it gives me something to do , I finished the campaign as well , and already unlocked all the women , I’m not speaking for ultimates cuz that’s another story , but the base character aren’t hard at all

its like how FF14 "copied" WOW at first, as its foundation, but over time ended up making the better mmo (with less grinds, better gameplay & systems).. ... TFD could become what FF14 is / accomplished
With the current dr it won't last another month. The dr's are ridiculously low and they totally hold your progression. I love the way warframe implemented the relic system where you can choose your team mates rewards, I wish we had the same system here.
i got one main class to maxed out including a tamer maxed. i no longer find it fun to level another class, in the same ghost town dead zones, the ridiculously low drop rates on vital items to progress the core stats. they truly intended to funnel us to the cash shop aggressively. shelving this game for now until major loot chance changes or zone density changes
Bro me too, If I get back on warframe and use my garuda to farm a new frame i'm interested in I can play that frame and put a potato in it today without any crazy grind or spending money. Still got a decent amount of platinum(straight up from trading) to speed up the build process. I wish first descendant was the same way even without trading just make the activator chance increase to 10 base on hard and 5 base on normal amorphous.
I've been enjoying the game, but I'm also a casual player with a full time job. I'm still working through the campaign. I'll see how I like Hard Mode and try to grind for some things, but most likely I'll move on after 2-3 months.
This is how I been feeling, I wish there was a lil more of sum that's missing. Idk what doe, I finally got valby from grind, new char squishy.. be hurting my attention span
Limts that make no sense: picking up dropped mods, yes there is a limit on the amount of total mods you can have? So you needs to dismantle all the time, crazy. We cannot delete items in lost and found directly, but biggest problem, it only gets certain items? Remember to clear the bag to pick up ultimate parts, they will not come into lost and found. Only rare reactors end up in lost and found, no equipment or ultimate reactors.
Your problem is that you didn't farm a small supply of the monster drop items, that way any time you're grinding for anything else and you happen to get the blueprint and immediately craft it and move on I only have 5 descendents and I got the few one plus like 6 more without a dedicated grind on it
@@bobnewheart1307 Farming things on the side is fine, but the issue is that the drop rate for it is very low and considering the amount of times you need to farm said boss as well as the items you need to make it all adds up. Again, it's been done over and over but the comparison between making an Orokin Reactor/Catalyst in Warframe is way easier to make than in TFD. TFD is fun when you get into it but the main issue is the other parts like the drop rate and the convoluted systems.
@13Astralized13 I'm only using activators in Ultimate Descandants unless I really need to, the issue currently is slots for them if I happen to get Gley and Lepic etc.
It's a fun game, I like the gameplay. It can definitely be very fun. It gets bad when you have to farm the heck out of stuff, and very frustrating when you spend HOURS and have little to nothing to show for it. (Point at the Secret Garden)
"Losing my scope and location in the menu" is exactly the issue i'm experiencing. Especially with severe adhd, I feel like I need to reverse engineer the steps and write it all down to stay on track with what im doing.
so far i like that the devs aren’t actively nerfing builds and just allowing us to reach literal godhood with these builds and it’s always such a good feeling when the grind pays off and you see how far you’ve come with these constant power gains
One thing I'll never understand is something you mentioned around 4:00. People that enjoy "grinding" to level up characters and weapons and all that, but stop at nothing to consume every piece of video content on the planet teaching them how to get through it faster. And then ultimately complain when they've done all there is to do, and then there's nothing left for them that's actually giving that "carrot" at the end of the stick to keep them playing. Well.. they TH-cam'd their way through all that content. Some may even have busted out the. 50 Cal credit card to solve that problem. It's baffling behavior but this is the bulk of the people who play these types of games. It's crazy
Gameplay is fun Characters are neat and fun I enjoy “playing” BUT I am Sick & Tired of spending time to get two different currencies to take to a boss to NOT get the damn gun blueprint or descendent piece or energy activator I need. Beyond annoyed and frustrated Content creators: “ohhh man this Python gun is so sick, you gotta get this ____ thing” Me: “yeah cool I’ve spent 40 freaking amorphous materials and have 3/4 parts BUT the last part will not drop” I’m beyond annoyed. Nexon, you lose me and my wallet if you don’t help players like me out. Throw me a bone, let me sell/trade my 45 Valby Cells at a vendor to just buy the Python Blueprint. For example.
I use Ajax a lot but I find him very inefficient for grinding. I think some descendants are going to need some fine tuning to be able to stay relevant in the future between content drops.
The fact i have Valby ....and enough pieces to get her 3 more times and i cant remove the items is a MAJOR ISSUE (i already have the character.....what needs to be done with characters is the same as weapons....if u end up with a character making another copy of her u can put into the character for perma...small buffs to the characters without making them as powerful as their ultimate counter parts....either that or if u got materials for a character u already have...you could also do what u can do to modules....either enhance, dismantle or combine to make another small boost to the already made character)
i am loving the game but what i would like to see in individual inventories for descendants for weapons and reactors so on but keep consumables, plans, mods and parts of stuff account wide , having a shared inventories may work if you intend to use 2 maybe 3 at most , does not work so well if you have more ,too easy to delete item that you are using on another descendant especially when you are tired .
also descendant loadouts. Unless I'm missing something..You can make module loadouts but I should be able to have specific weapon, reactor, and component loadouts for when I switch to another descendant.
*speaking as someone with over 4k hours in Warframe* Time gating is only really an issue early game as once you have enough stuff to level all you need to do is set up the crafting before you start leveling
My biggest issue with this game really is the rarity of energy activators. I don't mind ultimate character parts having super low drop chances. Those are the strongest descendants in the game. But energy activators shouldn't cost 20 plus dollars in store and shouldn't have 3-6 percent drop chances from amorphous. The forma substitute is perfect at 15-20 percent. I think energy activators should be a 10 percent drop on hard without stabilizer. Just make it slightly less scarce not anything too crazy.
I don’t mind grinding with low drops , but the level up in this game is so bad is taking probably and hour to level up a character not to mention to fit all the mods in the character is crazy amount of time you need to put in.
I believe the mission monster drop is actually from the yellow bar elites that spawn in the missions. I heard someone say that somewhere else and it seems to be true from what I can tell.
I'm at the end-game grind I guess. Trying to unlock parts from a character. Run a mission to get the amorphous thing, then take to a boss and hope I get lucky with a 3% drop rate... obviously don't get lucky so repeat the mission and kill boss again. Getting a little tired.
I did this at first, but what i did is farm whatever you need/want in bulk, THEN so the bosses. Doing 1 at a time can definitely feel tiring, i feel yah.
@@griever3195 but it's not fun..it becomes extremely monotonous. It's comparable to working at a factory on an assembly line(which I used to do at Tesla). Yes it keeps you busy and distracted and the pay check comes out really nice but are you ENJOYING yourself. The journey has to be fun not just the little dopamine hit when you get the payoff.
I'm actually having loads of fun, I really like looter shooters ever since I've played BL 1 to 3 and Warframe. I know the repetitive nature of this genre, which i actually like. Hehe
Honestly as soon as I reached the end game/unlocked hard mode, I knew I was pretty much done after seeing almost every boss was the exact same as normal mode just with more HP. I’m currently crafting my 10th crystal catalyst to get the final trophy then I’m probably out for good unless they add some good DLC content or change up endgame.
AM drop rates need a MASSIVE drop rate increase on outposts. Let's not forget this is double layered RNG. %chance to get the AM THEN %chance for what you want out of it. Stealth infiltration should be at minimum 50% drop rate. Not to mention the number of times you farm things with 0 rewards at the end.
The best part is finally getting the thingie (amorphous mat number 116b) and now requiring 26 polymer shards and 6 monomer shards so you farm those and then you go to a void reactor and spend those and a annoying boss spawns with his immune balls up inside the ceiling of a cave so you can’t shoot the immune balls and then the immune balls are rotating immune phases when you can shoot them and then you finally kill the boss and you don’t get the item/blueprint you need ….. Yeah. Super cool.
The reason why they make it tedious to farm stuff is simple...cash shop. It's like they are telling you "Wooow that's a lot of work huh? Why not just toss a few bucks our way and avoid the pain?"
The only thorough review of this game. I couldn't agree more with the farming. To be honest, I was willing to embrace the grind but tracking the resources I need was a barrier of entry for me and after I grinded one descendant and a fully upgraded Thundercage, I got tired of reading all the documents I needed to figure out what/where to grind for other stuff so I just stopped playing. I love the game and I'm waiting for new void intercept fights (I beat everything), but I can't participate in grinding anymore because of the game's poor UI/obfuscation of information needed to grind smoothly. Figuring out what to grind and where to go is worst than the grinding itself.
I have been playing it, I either get lucky and join players who are strong and game modes become easy.............. OR get paired with the biggest trio of noobs who die more than Kenny from south park
More team focused gameplay. I feel like I'm playing Solo with bots 24/7. Pyro was easier Solo than with teammates and that feels wrong. So things that make Teammates required and make Synergies that feel good. Make certain missions give bonuses with different types of characters. Like Ajax gives more Defense to his team or Bunny gives Movement Speed etc, but only for that mission and those characters. Like Defense Albion Resource would have Ajax, Bunny, Freyna, and Esiemo. You aren't required to have those characters but they'd give a bonus to a Stat or increase Resource rewards. Then for Stealth/Assault put people like Lepic, Enzo, Sharen, or Yujin. Make different mission have different people. Could even be on a rotational Basis
as new content, would like to see world bosses / big hunts occasionally roaming the over world, ..when spoted, players can randomly come together and do them (make normal ones for all players & hard ones, only for players that have either beaten the campaign or have reached alteast lv 20 mastery) ... players could than decide to remain in a quest / mission of that area on the map, or chose to leave it, and join in on the boss
For me I’ve played it for about a week and I’m pretty much already done. I don’t have an issue with grinding for ultimate items (hell I’ve played around 3k hours of Warframe). The thing that is getting me out of it is with as much as they copied they didn’t take the important things. Along with making a lot regular descendants locked behind double farm/ring is insane to me. Sure in Warframe I might have to grind a currency or the same boss trying to get the drops but I never have to try and get a random drop to then try and get another random drop. Not to mention the crafting limit is insane, there’s no limit in Warframe and I’ll still rush things when I want it now so it doesn’t incentivize people to spend money it is just annoying.
Dude, all this is by design. They don't want you to grind, they want you to spend money. So why would they make things easier than reaching for your wallet.
I think this probably applies to only normal difficulty, as I'm not in hard yet, just play a few hours in the evening... but when farming lower stuff, please let me have a 'NO WEAP & 'ARMOUR' DROPS TO INVENTORY PLZ"
Getting drops for characters that I've already unlocked seems a little slimy since I can't unlock that character again and it just becomes useless. I think they should reward players for putting in the hours to unlock a character and remove those drop chances to increase the other drop rates for items I actually need. Or create a trade system, but definitely would prefer the former.
I would like this game to be long lasting. After I unlocked all characters and weapons I wanted, I feel like I'm on standby now. But good thing is that TFD dev team is fairly small so hopefully they could get away without being super profitable at the beginning. Looking forward to the future of this game!
I agree with everything you said about what could be improved. I dont like how much micro management it takes to actually play the game, espeically once you unlock hard mode.
i will say i played early warframe. and it has a lot less then this game dose. thats a good sign to me. give them a few months to getting new stuff in and then we can see
Great!! Honest and straight forward. People that don't like the grid - this is not for them. It would not be as good if the parts were just "given" to you. Drop rates are good.
In general i liked the game style, but its too grindy for me so i was about to buy particular ultimate descendant i liked, but i discovered that Ultimate is not Upgrade, its a Separate character WHY ?! So progression from basic character not transferable, its not just i needed to start from Zero with the feeling that previous progression was worthless and basic character is useless.. so now i spend bunch of time and wanna pay for Ultimate but i need to pay more to match what i already had because some resources I already wasted on basic character.. no thx.
Having multiple descendants in TFD will benefit you for your mastery rank progression. Not the case in ESO. In ESO you can just have one character and done. That's why in TFD this character slot limit as f2p player is a limitation towards your mastery rank progression. If you want to compare, compare it with warframe. Not ESO. Because mastery rank system in TFD is almost 1:1 copy of warframe.. But in warframe tho, you can get premium currency for free via trading and use that to buy slot. Heck, when you start the game, you get free premium currency enough to buy 2 slots. And slot is also available for free from the "battle pass" which is completely free as well.
Also, I think adding deeper character story arcs is a bad idea. I personally like the idea. But most Warframe players don't. They just want to head out and get rolling. Story for a lot of them is a speed bump or even road block to getting out and doing what they want to do. Ontop of that, from a company standpoint, the beauty of Warframes is that they have no personality. No annoying voice or personality traits. No bad voice acting or horribly written backstory or other things to keep people at arms length. Do you like how they look? How about the kit they use? Alright you're good to go. No other considerations. And I think that kind of neutrality is why Warframe is so successful.
The thing with where he said in video. Where to get these things to use at the other things. That should be fixed now. That is or will be pretty clear soon. They put in patches all the time. During these 10 days. 2 patches i think have dropped. The changed drop rate. It is mich better now than like 2 weeks ago.
Other than jiggly physics the game is not bad at all. I was playing with the character who cares ice and snow, beat a boss today who completely destroyed me finding it alone. As someone who owns and has played the division 2, this game is right behind it. Of course it's going to be repetitive because it's an RPG. The state of the game is grind. I think what could happen, is if you play enough for something you have a special event where do you get better loot.
Hello all, Yea you had said it, bro. Totally on the mark. Nice review. I myself have played a lot of looter shooter games, so I know what you are talking about. Ty.
I liked it, but the one thing that put me off playing long term was that I went through all the future descendents I hadnt unlocked, and none looked exciting. At all. Which is criminal for this kind of game! Why would I grind out for hours or pay money for new descendetns when I dont want to play them?
if you invest in an ultimate bunny and hailey or gley, you will have nothing to do in this game in about 2 months. ther coming out with content but its not enough. 2 invasion missions 4x a day and no new map or colossus is kinda wack. gluttony is not hard. its finding party that is not full of room temperature IQ individuals is the hard part. i do like the game but i feel like the itch i had for looter shooters is almost gone. ultimate freyna in october? whos gonna make her for anything than mastery? rework her kit completely shes the most useless descendant. at least sharen has her missions but freyna has no place anywhere
One thing they need to fix, why do reactors drop with wrong buffs like reactors (copied from borderlands), a chill reactor can drop with toxin and or fire buffs, completely useless. It's crazy amounts of trash we collect during gameplay it takes forever to sort out and junk. It way worse than borderlands the buffs at least make sense.
I don't know anything about game development but to me it seems like they cut a lot of corners just copying a bunch of systems from other looter shooters they were inspired by. The wrong element on the reactor is probably just some sort of system they developed to make the reactor sub stats completely random. There are way too many layers of RNG in this game tbh..
I have mixed opinions about this Game TBH... Microtransactions in Free to play Games are a necessity, but the pricing is a little bit off the charts if compared to Warframe! To be fair, Warframe started out over ten years ago but the Prices for Forma or Reactors have been pretty much the same (and in my opinion acceptable) ever since, even after the Chinese takeover. Hopefully that changes over time in The first Descendant. Gameplay is nice but needs polishing. Next thing is Gun play, pretty cool and a very different experience (especially certain beam-weapons on console are very hard to control in the beginning) for a third-person shooter, plus I like Hand cannons and snipers a lot because they have a certain punch to it if you hit those critical spots well. Tutorials are very explanatory, which is good for newer players. Enhancement with modules is nothing new but well done here in The first Descendant. What I certainly don't like as you mentioned is the acquisition of Ultimate Weapons and Descendants, it's just a little overkill and too complex on the Grind-factor in my opinion... All in all pretty Promising if the Pricing for certain items drop by a lot, content flow is there and the list of varying activities and descendants is growing over time Thanks for reading
I was having fun on normal mode. Since all the hard missions are unlocked no reason to play. Not grinding to unlock Descendants. Wish normal mode went to level 50 and unlock hard mode missions going up to level 100
There's really no reason for you to stay at normal mode, you're just gate keeping yourself nothing else. But i mean if you do enjoy the story mode that's good for you.🫡
Definitely needs more character story, using better writers or more time invested in story. The game is fun, but i want to care about the world im playing in.
I really enjoy this game . i dont mind the grind to obtain the ultimate stuff , but like u said , the process to get there have to improve , too much time to spend to farm for the material to get to a boss fight ,colossus or void reactor , they way they interact whti the community is good tho so more content of course , but first sort out as much as possible the quality of life stuff
Not a single ult character takes 8 hours.. much less days or weeks😅 My longest grind was ult bunny at 6 hours and shortest was ult lepic at just 3 hours
This felt a bit like less of a "review" and more a video about the games issues But that aside i agree with everything, the menus in acess info are a case study on bad ui design 😂 And i didn't think about but I'd take it a step further, let us also equip modules we dont have in thr training ground, so we can fully theory craft out complete builds Besides that the games fun for me and i also have over 130 hours.. Then lastly I'm withholding judgment on the content plan for now, because we could just get what advertised or we can get events and other stuff.. I wanna see what they're 3 month season actually includes before making a big judgement like it won't add much to the game
Have lil left to do already farmed 11 toons alot of the Golden guns nothing to do but farm end game stuff probably put it down for a bit see what they do
Its nothing more than a scam $150 for a charter what a joke 50 runs to get what you're after and still don't get it end game there is none same BS over and over It is not a game it a $ grab
Is it worth what your graphic or your thumbnail says is it worth? Kind of an incomplete thought or question or sentence or whatever is it worth what your time buying stuff in the cash app playing I mean what’s the question?
120 hours isn't feasible for me because I work full time and am drained by the end of the day most of the time, but if I had the time for it, I could easily see myself logging these amounts of time into the game. Last weekend I played for maybe 7-8 hours Saturday and again on Sunday. The weekend before that I played 8-9 on one of the weekend days. There's so much to do if you haven't purchased everything
I think it’s a fun game definitely need some quality life changes but the debs actually seem to be listening so we will have to see where it goes. Also, I agree there needs to be like I would say an entire new location every season plus a descendent and all the other things they already mentioned.
The community for this game needs to be more patient. The grind is painfully but if you make it too easy then you will unlock all the character and all the guns then the games over and nothing to do til they release high value content which could realistically be months.
@jasonmurawski1510 Grinding is fine, but there's a difference between being patient and then also wasting your time. I get this game is for the long haul but if you want to reel people into the loop then you're going to need to do more than this. You could have weekly objectives which give you activitors or Catalysts even if it's just one. If people start to get into hard mode and get gear/stat checked then they aren't going to stick for long if the hill to get to the fun part is steep.
@@ImproperStandby I see what you laying down. I can agree. Really enjoying the game as I missed the warframe train and destiny burned me Out years ago. Just hoping that they listen to the community and implement positive improvements. Maybe adding catalysts and activators to the battlepass?! Battlepass seems a little weak or lacking.
YES THATS WHAT IM SAYING,i also think what people dont get is this game genre is purely and only a looter, the content in sole looters it the active content you are doing to get the gear, its never what you do after.just like borderlands, diablo, ect, the point and fun is trying to get the gear but theres nothing ever to do once you have it and thats ok becuse the point of a pure looter and not a looter mmo type game, no a pure looter thats the point
I am at 40h and drop rates are just way too low. You do an event to get a 20% chance on your item, then have to farm void shards, and then have a 6% chance on your part. No man this is unaccaptable. This makes it a 1.2% chance to get. WTF? Stop wasting your time by playing this crap.
it's the goal of the game to get stuffs basically, imagine how you'd feel once you pay, you wouldnt be happier trust me, just 2 minutes max, that's the problem of these games, unless you actually really like the gameplay that much, but i think 98% of the players are not really happy playing
Thanks for review, uninstalled it after a couple of hours. Nice to see the road ahead and how grindy and money grabbing this design is. I'll give it a miss 😊

i love it im only gonna spend money on good battle passes , everything else im gonna grind my ass off , ive got ult bunny in the oven cooking , grate video good points made alot of work needs to be done imo, ive played warframe for 4 years , and destiny for 2years this game combines both but feels kinda fresh which is the appeal for me , just hope they listen but use there own entitative towards the community wants and maybe needs , i really think a dev stream once a fortnight for questions , ideas from devs and players needs to happen , i really do hope they add trading with an in game currency and maybe venders you can source items from , i could go on but yeah im enjoying the game feels a little empty once you've beat the story and slayed all the colossuses , i think some game modes like survival would be grate were you have to beat a random colossus at the end of 7 waves would be cool.
7.5-8.0/10 => great foundation for a f2p! ... fun gameplay, good grinding (not too crazy grindy, but enough variety overall, also thanx to the characters), beautiful grafix AND sound SFX! ... the motivation is always high, always something to grind, to build, to look forward, ect. etc. ... imo the grind / drop rates are very nice (especially compared to other games), even if we need to grind for one thing, just to grind again with another drop chance to open it. ... my only 3 complaints are: - the colour dyes, we need to get 10 or 99 - why 2 timers? one after a mission, than another to move away from the mission, it takes us out of our menus, when checking / comparing our loot, right after a mission - when completing a craft, even when we pick it up, we need to click too mant times through too many menus / scenes

What are your thoughts on The First Descendant? What does it need going forward?
Better QoL ( filtering overall, menu streamed - put on a hotkey ), less restricted cosmetics ( buy a said gender cosmetic and you can use it on the same gender - Dinosaur skin), variety of weekly loot table to include weapons with a fixed gold/yellow stat on it while other 3 still random and instead of nerfing, just buff to be more inline with others.
Black playable characters 20 white Asian and European characters not one black playable character or skin changer 😆

@@williamr8327 I literally get home and farm or level it's like relaxing to me and it's NEW is the keyword, after 7k hours in warframe I don't even wanna log in anymore for my daily rewards. 😅
its like how FF14 "copied" WOW at first, as its foundation, but over time ended up making the better mmo (with less grinds, better gameplay & systems)..
... TFD could become what FF14 is / accomplished
With the current dr it won't last another month. The dr's are ridiculously low and they totally hold your progression. I love the way warframe implemented the relic system where you can choose your team mates rewards, I wish we had the same system here.
@@marciodasilva6920 hot take. Come on now... A month is ridiculous
i got one main class to maxed out including a tamer maxed. i no longer find it fun to level another class, in the same ghost town dead zones, the ridiculously low drop rates on vital items to progress the core stats. they truly intended to funnel us to the cash shop aggressively. shelving this game for now until major loot chance changes or zone density changes
There are reactors that give you a better drope rate just saying
I've been enjoying the game, but I'm also a casual player with a full time job. I'm still working through the campaign. I'll see how I like Hard Mode and try to grind for some things, but most likely I'll move on after 2-3 months.
This is how I been feeling, I wish there was a lil more of sum that's missing. Idk what doe, I finally got valby from grind, new char squishy.. be hurting my attention span
That first shot of bunny is so funny how he just doesn’t acknowledge it
Ironically when he's talking about the "core audience" 😂
Cuz bro ain't no coomer.
My lost and found is filled with ultimate reactors and components. Mods do not go into lost and found though.
Energy Activators and Crystallization Catalysts shouldn't be as annoying to get as they are vital for progression to the endgame.
Agree with that. Not too easy though
Your problem is that you didn't farm a small supply of the monster drop items, that way any time you're grinding for anything else and you happen to get the blueprint and immediately craft it and move on I only have 5 descendents and I got the few one plus like 6 more without a dedicated grind on it
Wait till you get an Ultimate Descendant. You have to use them all over again 💀
It's crazy
Gameplay is fun
Characters are neat and fun
I enjoy “playing”
BUT I am Sick & Tired of spending time to get two different currencies to take to a boss to NOT get the damn gun blueprint or descendent piece or energy activator I need.
Beyond annoyed and frustrated
Content creators: “ohhh man this Python gun is so sick, you gotta get this ____ thing”
Me: “yeah cool I’ve spent 40 freaking amorphous materials and have 3/4 parts BUT the last part will not drop”
I’m beyond annoyed.
Gave up on it the drop rate is ridiculous i dont got time to be doing the same missions for days and not get the 1 thing i need 🤟
They arent even bad. Play any other looter or mmo 😂
Hey man, at least you know it's just not for you, nothing wrong with that. If you feel like your time isn't rewarded it's good to move on.
@@NoBrainahLike Warframe? Which is 100x easier?
This game ain’t for you.
There are a lot of other games out there for you. I'm sensing some skill issue here.
To say that a video game got repetitive is like saying water is wet. All games are repetitive
i am loving the game but what i would like to see in individual inventories for descendants for weapons and reactors so on but keep consumables, plans, mods and parts of stuff account wide , having a shared inventories may work if you intend to use 2 maybe 3 at most , does not work so well if you have more ,too easy to delete item that you are using on another descendant especially when you are tired .
also descendant loadouts.
Hehe
Chances are just way to low....
Honestly as soon as I reached the end game/unlocked hard mode, I knew I was pretty much done after seeing almost every boss was the exact same as normal mode just with more HP. I’m currently crafting my 10th crystal catalyst to get the final trophy then I’m probably out for good unless they add some good DLC content or change up endgame.
playing to get a trophee ? lol nvever understood that
@@baguettelauncher8839 good for you.
I just wish the AM from outposts was 100% drop chance doing 2-3 hours of outpost farm and not getting the thingie feels like a waste of time
AM drop rates need a MASSIVE drop rate increase on outposts.
Yeah. Super cool.
Ive never gotten an 83..Its kinda crazy
The reason why they make it tedious to farm stuff is simple...cash shop. It's like they are telling you "Wooow that's a lot of work huh? Why not just toss a few bucks our way and avoid the pain?"
Someone put this man on the dev team
Could even be on a rotational Basis
as new content, would like to see world bosses / big hunts occasionally roaming the over world, ..when spoted, players can randomly come together and do them (make normal ones for all players & hard ones, only for players that have either beaten the campaign or have reached alteast lv 20 mastery)
...
players could than decide to remain in a quest / mission of that area on the map, or chose to leave it, and join in on the boss
The thing is there's a lot more to this than when Warframe first dropped
95% of players are hard wall stuck on Frost its gonna be a while before most clear it all
Haha me stuck af
Everything you said was on point!!!
Please get this message to these people that it is more HEADACHE THAN PLEASURE AFTER A HARD DAYS WORK!!!!!!!!!
I dont like how much micro management it takes to actually play the game, espeically once you unlock hard mode.
i will say i played early warframe. and it has a lot less then this game dose. thats a good sign to me. give them a few months to getting new stuff in and then we can see
They should really give you more character slots as you mastery up, an not lock it behind a pay wall
So progression from basic character not transferable, its not just i needed to start from Zero with the feeling that previous progression was worthless and basic character is useless.. so now i spend bunch of time and wanna pay for Ultimate but i need to pay more to match what i already had because some resources I already wasted on basic character.. no thx.
That ass shot at beginning was flawless thanks❤
Great review! I hope this game gets a long enough cycle to establish themselves, good or bad
Regarding the slots, ESO does it as well. You pay premium currency to buy more slots.
Will you be making any content on Throne and Liberty?
My question is is the enemies fun to shoot, are they smart and push you back and is it balanced in 4 Coop?
It is mich better now than like 2 weeks ago.
thank god u changed that goat intro
Other than jiggly physics the game is not bad at all. I was playing with the character who cares ice and snow, beat a boss today who completely destroyed me finding it alone.
As someone who owns and has played the division 2, this game is right behind it. Of course it's going to be repetitive because it's an RPG. The state of the game is grind.
I think what could happen, is if you play enough for something you have a special event where do you get better loot.
Hello all, Yea you had said it, bro. Totally on the mark. Nice review. I myself have played a lot of looter shooter games, so I know what you are talking about. Ty.
It’s kinda enjoyable if you don’t actually buy anything, don’t mind the grind as long as I’m usually playing with other people
The process of the game is strongly like division 2 which I’ve also got into recently! Never played these type of games but I like it to be honest.
Definitely the complexity of the obtaining loot is one thing that puts me off.
I'm a casual gamer now, just dont have the time play games like i used to, which makes me stray away from grindy games like this
Is there any review in 2024 thay goes trough gameplay etc not graphics,ui and shops and shit
currently waiting for my ultimate ajax and i dislike how long it take to just craft him let alone farm him...
I just wanna know if it has actual substance and isn’t just a coomer game
All in all pretty Promising if the Pricing for certain items drop by a lot, content flow is there and the list of varying activities and descendants is growing over time
Thanks for reading
I was having fun on normal mode. Since all the hard missions are unlocked no reason to play. Not grinding to unlock Descendants. Wish normal mode went to level 50 and unlock hard mode missions going up to level 100
There's really no reason for you to stay at normal mode, you're just gate keeping yourself nothing else.
But i mean if you do enjoy the story mode that's good for you.🫡
@13:18 LOL. Props to the Editor. You would name a Sarkeesian Feminist blush rage.
shhh don't say that name. never utter that name again
Good video. Thanks for posting.
Can't honestly disagree with the majority of the points u made. Game really does have potential. Hope it does well.
I’ve actually had a lot of fun with it. Is it grindy? You bet, however I’m used to it from warframe.
Thanks for posting
Definitely needs more character story, using better writers or more time invested in story. The game is fun, but i want to care about the world im playing in.
I really enjoy this game . i dont mind the grind to obtain the ultimate stuff , but like u said , the process to get there have to improve , too much time to spend to farm for the material to get to a boss fight ,colossus or void reactor , they way they interact whti the community is good tho so more content of course , but first sort out as much as possible the quality of life stuff
Not a single ult character takes 8 hours.. much less days or weeks😅
My longest grind was ult bunny at 6 hours and shortest was ult lepic at just 3 hours
should i just play warframe or destiny 2?
This felt a bit like less of a "review" and more a video about the games issues
But that aside i agree with everything, the menus in acess info are a case study on bad ui design 😂
And i didn't think about but I'd take it a step further, let us also equip modules we dont have in thr training ground, so we can fully theory craft out complete builds
Besides that the games fun for me and i also have over 130 hours..
Then lastly I'm withholding judgment on the content plan for now, because we could just get what advertised or we can get events and other stuff.. I wanna see what they're 3 month season actually includes before making a big judgement like it won't add much to the game
This. Let us equip maxed out modules we don't have, cause I can't upgrade 2 pretty similar pieces just to find out one is way better than the other.
Kind of an incomplete thought or question or sentence or whatever is it worth what your time buying stuff in the cash app playing I mean what’s the question?
this game has the potential to become the NEXT Destiny / Warzone!.., but with fan-service^^ (what gamers asked for)
120 hours?! How have you managed that
We all have 100+ hrs already lol game is super addictive
Yeah, I love it! Havent played a looter shooter since the division
@@Masterpain33 I agree it's all I have been playing but not even managed 50?!
I was over I'm also over 120.. alot of 17 hour days on launch
The grind is boring this is my first looter shooter
love the cosmetics and ult characters
I think it’s a fun game definitely need some quality life changes but the debs actually seem to be listening so we will have to see where it goes. Also, I agree there needs to be like I would say an entire new location every season plus a descendent and all the other things they already mentioned.
I see sometime is stuck getting that divine punishment nano tube 🤣 i got everything but the tube and 5 smithereens that 38% got me fucked up
there is a stow away system for descendants
Most characters have terrible voice acting. But it's still early, and I enjoy the game loop so far.
Really enjoying the game as I missed the warframe train and destiny burned me
Out years ago.
This grind is easier than most .. people need to move on if they are crying over drops
@@ImproperStandbymost of us have been in hard mode for a while that's when your start to grind and that's the best part
If you got money to waste this is the game for you.
The drop rates are really killing this game.
it's the goal of the game to get stuffs basically, imagine how you'd feel once you pay, you wouldnt be happier trust me, just 2 minutes max, that's the problem of these games, unless you actually really like the gameplay that much, but i think 98% of the players are not really happy playing
Grind grind grind
Thanks for review, uninstalled it after a couple of hours. Nice to see the road ahead and how grindy and money grabbing this design is. I'll give it a miss 😊
this game is insane, i'm done, wasting my time, it was good at the beginning, no regret, but that's it, 3% drop rate lol, and nexon has shallow past with drop rate scam, they got filed millions (whichis penny for them)
i love it im only gonna spend money on good battle passes , everything else im gonna grind my ass off , ive got ult bunny in the oven cooking , grate video good points made alot of work needs to be done imo, ive played warframe for 4 years , and destiny for 2years this game combines both but feels kinda fresh which is the appeal for me , just hope they listen but use there own entitative towards the community wants and maybe needs , i really think a dev stream once a fortnight for questions , ideas from devs and players needs to happen , i really do hope they add trading with an in game currency and maybe venders you can source items from , i could go on but yeah im enjoying the game feels a little empty once you've beat the story and slayed all the colossuses , i think some game modes like survival would be grate were you have to beat a random colossus at the end of 7 waves would be cool.
7.5-8.0/10
=> great foundation for a f2p!
...
fun gameplay, good grinding (not too crazy grindy, but enough variety overall, also thanx to the characters), beautiful grafix AND sound SFX!
...
the motivation is always high, always something to grind, to build, to look forward, ect. etc.
...
imo the grind / drop rates are very nice (especially compared to other games), even if we need to grind for one thing, just to grind again with another drop chance to open it.
...
my only 3 complaints are:
- the colour dyes, we need to get 10 or 99
- why 2 timers? one after a mission, than another to move away from the mission, it takes us out of our menus, when checking / comparing our loot, right after a mission
- when completing a craft, even when we pick it up, we need to click too mant times through too many menus / scenes
It doesn’t look and feel like destiny at all. I don’t get why people keep saying that
Having played lots of borderlands, warframe and destiny. I think it's 40% dest. 30% WF 20% BL and something else.
Its either you're blind or delusional, comparison is always good helps gamedevs do better on their own way.
@@omegalulkappa5640 I have 1k hours in destiny. 4K in warframe. A few hundred in outriders. And I’ve beat all the borderlands games. I’d say it’s mostly a combination of warframe and outriders. With a couple things taken from destiny. Maybe some borderlands
Hot take, I'm having more fun with this game than I ever did with my 300 hours in warframe
Love this game .. i think the people crying for nerfs .. and drops rates .. need to find another game
They will, it will be dead in less than a month
So... You just want the game to die? Ok then
@thefury4424 yeah you all don't play these types of games.. every other looter is WORSE THAN THIS game .. no it will weed out the people who can't handle these games .. also you all said the same thing 2 days in then A Week then 2 weeks and now what 3 weeks .
@@sthepcorms6747 nope just weeds out the people who can't handle these games .. neither of you have ever played a Loot based game .. maybe look into other loot based games . Might give you some insight .. destiny, division , warframe , wow and many others
@@reapersasmr5483 all good, glad you are still enjoying playing the same missions 100 times
Damn I'm at 260 hours and now it's starting to lose its flair 😢😂
I understand pointing out cons and pain points, but I'm not sure you said a single positive thing in this review. It doesn't really match your final conclusion of having tons of potential. Maybe you could talk about what the potential you see in the game actually is?
Nah. Wait some months
Yea we will see
They took worst parts of the Warframe, Genshin and Destiny. Thats what infuriates me the most, but other than that, its a really cool game.
