The Kuat - Beta - 2 Bike Hitch Rack - For 2 Inch is a lean and mean rack that can carry two bikes (up to 80 lbs. total capacity), all while coming in under 14 pounds! Making the Beta 2 bike 2 inch hitch rack the lightest weight carrier on the market.
Beta's traditional rubber straps have been replaced with a ratcheting strap. Ratcheting straps make easy work of loading and unloading of your bikes and provide the perfect tension on your bikes.
As with all hanging type racks, it is important to consider the bikes to be carried. Bikes carried on a hanging rack must have frames that are suitable to hang from the top tube. Ladies style frames with diagonal top tubes, bicycles with suspension components occupying the space under the top tube and many children's bikes may require an adapter to be carried properly. The Kuat Ubar - UB01 - Frame Adapter is the solution for bikes that simply can not be held from its own horizontal top tube.
Another consideration is bike spacing, hanging racks will be described as two, three, four or five bike models, however, this is a generalization. For example, on a four bike rack unless all four bikes can be positioned very close to one another without conflicts the rack may only accommodate three bikes.

The installation looks simple. Are all SUVs already installed the receiver hitch? or need to buy separatly?

I think I lost the key that locks the rack to the hitch. What should I do to remove the rack, if I lost the key.

As I went to the website, it states it’s been discontinued. Is there a replacement?
From what I can see, Kuat still makes this rack but in a slightly different model but we no longer carry it.
My ball bearing has fallen out. How to put that back correctly?
