Pops Fernandez was on her reign during 80s to early 20s... The Concert Queen was regine's discoverer...Pops requested regine (chona) to guest on her show. Pops was not just a performer...she was also a tv host... Then, by pops, regine met his first manager. Then Regine's journey continues. What's good is that despite they were in different stations before (pops is the original host of ASAP, while regine is hosting SOP) , both remain good friends. Pops is not a belter...but a total performer... Regine is a belter and a total package...the readon why Pops is the first big artist who believed in her that she has potentials and can make it big... pops even describes regine before as the girl with a big hair and powerful voice.

One has to admire how timeless the voices of the divas that paved the way for Regine, most of them are now in their 50's and 60's and yet they can still give the new gen divas a run for their money. First, Dulce with her sultry and dark powerful, just listen to how she brings the emotion with every word she sings. Followed by Ms. Pops Fernandez who may not be the belter like most divas but has the thay sheer stage presence that got her to dominate the concert scene in her prime. Then we have Kuh Ledesma with who embodies the classy Dalagang Filipina especially when she sings onstage, Zsa Zsa Padilla, a timeless and ageless divine diva. Of course we have Jaya, who along with Regine Velasquez and Lani Misalucha are the undisputed Vocal Trinity of the Philippine music much like how Celine, Mariah and Whitney are to American Music.
Only she has the power to do that. Bring all the divas together and celebrate the friendship, the love and respect they have for each other.
