Hey Layla, I always watch your vids. Can you create one centered around onboarding or handing automations over to other people? Been in 4 companies and this issue always comes up. Someone sets up an automation and it's all good until a process needs to be changed, a new tool needs to be used, or a new member is coming in. Somehow, the automations overlap, creates loops, or just gets broken. And when you have a lot (some that you didn't setup), then you're not sure anymore which ones are load-bearing. For example, we have a design board for design folks and a copy board. Tasks get sent to them thru forms. But different people setup different forms and automations for them. Now, whenever someons needs a copy, they also end up creating a design task even when it's not needed.
Hi @martinfarrow2825! I wouldn't say one is easier than another, it depends on what you are needing the software to do for you and your business. I'd suggest checking out this video th-cam.com/video/NWOCexknEAk/w-d-xo.html
Hey there, like what Layla said it depends but I find that if I'm only gonna deal with tasks then Asana is enough. However, if you're gonna use it as a database and have other types of entries there not just tasks, then maybe look at other tools. :)
Emailing in your TMS, ERM or CRM is not really automating. This is kinda handy but not really automating. It's like templating plans, handy but not really automating. Zapier integration is good... my ops manager won't let me play with any automating, neither power automate or built in HubSpot automation. 😢
My biggest hang up is I would love to use Status, BUT when I hit complete it repopulates the record which I can’t wrap my head around because I’m a one woman show and I just want to “hide” completed records…
I prefer to keep it simple! I used to stick with a binary To Do / Complete but these days To Do / In Progress / Blocked / Complete is my current favorite. :)
How do you help automate your project management?
PS - Did you catch the fifth way to automate?
Cutting off the middleman by implementing client portal such a form or ticketing system.. insightful ideas as always thank you 👍🏻🙏🏻
Need a part 2, 3 and 4! Awesome content, thank you

Hey Roberto! Great suggestion. I can see why this could cause some chaos! I'm going to add this to our ideas list for future videos.
Thanks Layla!
You're so welcome!
I am grateful, Layla! I will make an effort to apply these in my workplace. Hopefully, my boss won't fire me in the end. :D
😂 At the very least!!
Hey Layla Hwhy is the relationship Column not working when i link it ?
You may be experiencing a tech bug inside the tool you are using. I'd recommend reaching out to the tool you are using. ☺️
I don't know that I've ever been this early before

🙁
Tried to find the 3rd ingredient but couldn't find anywhere. Sounds like a perfect SaaS idea to create one 😂. Lol
What are your favorite “status” examples? Backlog, processing and complete

Hey Layla. Have you divorced Clickup?
We still use it but you can't divorce if you were never married. 😂
