@@lordcharlesthomas Vinnie wrote the song but Peter Criss covered it on his album “Let Me Rock You” and Rex Smith covered it on his album “Camouflage”. It’s such a perfect song so other people may have covered it as well.
These vocals are heartfelt with true feelings...Vinnie might not sing like the StarChild or Minnie Ripperton...but his VOX is true...& as far as guitar...come on a real BAD ASS....Vinnie Vincent Kicks Ass....all the time!!!!
Dear Victor, thanks, I love Vinnie! And he has composed so much music over the years, and been involved in so many groups, that I never seem to come to the end of him, to my joy. I really love Vinnie, every show he played for KISS was total magic! ❤️ 🙌
You left me here alone I guess I'll never see the light You turned another stone He makes your wrongs all right Another well laid plan Somehow it brings you home But I know tonight for sure [Chorus:] I see those tears And the damage they do (damage they do) You're breaking my heart With these tears That I cried all the years (cry over you) Can we make a new start Out of all the girls I've had at my knees You're the only one who can bring me to these Tears A master of the beat You got my number in your hands A killer on the streets You got your, your action plan But somewhere in your heart There must be a place for me 'Cause sweetheart I think I see I see those tears And the damage they do (damage they do) You're breaking my heart With these tears That I cried all the years (cry over you) Can we make a new start Out of all the girls I've had at my knees You're the only one who can bring me to these Tears Out of all the girls I've had at my knees You're the only one
Vinnie says Kiss actually recorded a version of "Back on the streets" with Paul Stanley on vocals! it's never been released, and even he doesn't own a copy of it. but I hope someday we get to hear it. VV was highly underrated as a songwriter, and under appreciated for his contributions to Kiss in general, let alone these fantastic solo songs.
You see the comeback where he’s onstage with the band four by fate and you wouldn’t think this is the same guy. I seen that and was who TF is this. Read comments and found out he’s this super talented songwriter/shred guitar player. Looked into his music and ya. Now I’m a fan
A great song is a great song.. Peter Criss' version was great, as was John Waites version.. Amazing magic by Vinnie and Adam Mitchell in the writing department..
Well, you’re just like Columbus discovered America.. everyone knows this. I have a video with his version posted here too.. what is the meaning of these comments, I can’t understand??
He has a beautiful voice, wish he had sung more songs.
I had to check the name to see if I wrote this comment. 💯 ❤
By far the best version of this song
Totally agree !!!
I don't know of any other versions

@@cdpond123 interesting, I didn't know that
Catman version
I can close my eyes and imagine this version ruling radio circa 1988.....just a great song!
THERES NO TIME FOR GOOD SONGS, THEY LOOK OLD BECAUSE MUSIC TODAY IS PURE LAME AND SHIIITTT

Yeah, this guy is legit
I’m a kiss fan since 76 and honestly he’s far better than Paul for me
Just a shame he had no clue how to do business or be humble or he'd still be killing it to this day
Great song. I love the vocals. They fit perfectly with the song.
I've been searching for this song for so damn long... It feels good to have finally found it..
This is a good song, a great song.
Mega Song! Hit - voice....🤘

Really? I mean, his shows with Kiss were that good? I'll have to check one. Cheers for revealing
Лучший вокалист который у него был...он сам
Great cleanup of a great song. Odd for a shredder, he wrote very melodic songs.
I may be wrong but he was no shredder in his early years. He certainly has a fine melodic/harmonic creative talent
Before he did VVI but after he left KISS, he was signed to an AOR label and he made a bunch of AOR songs for an unreleased album
You left me here alone
I guess I'll never see the light
You turned another stone
He makes your wrongs all right
Another well laid plan
Somehow it brings you home
But I know tonight for sure
[Chorus:]
I see those tears
And the damage they do (damage they do)
You're breaking my heart
With these tears
That I cried all the years (cry over you)
Can we make a new start
Out of all the girls I've had at my knees
You're the only one who can bring me to these
Tears
A master of the beat
You got my number in your hands
A killer on the streets
You got your, your action plan
But somewhere in your heart
There must be a place for me
'Cause sweetheart I think I see
I see those tears
And the damage they do (damage they do)
You're breaking my heart
With these tears
That I cried all the years (cry over you)
Can we make a new start
Out of all the girls I've had at my knees
You're the only one who can bring me to these
Tears
Out of all the girls I've had at my knees
You're the only one
Thanks a lot dude! More enjoyable with the lyrics!! Long live Vinnie!! 🧡🧡🧡
"another wave length theme
Somehow it brings you more..."
What a wonderful voice. Just think if this would have been on the lick it up album. They wouldn't have been able to get rid of him
Would it of been a good fit on that album?

Good one!
This is surprisingly good. I mean it’s fairly generic AOR but, generic AOR in that era was pretty good.

Masterpiece!
Только Изотопом немножко можно шумы было бы убрать, но по arne получился отменный результат великолепной песни!
Благодарю вас!

John Waite covered this in 1984 on his "No Brakes" album.

So did Rex Smith, but…I wouldn’t call it nice.
