Those aliens have the technology to create a subspace pocket dimension where they can trap people. Any damage to the environment in the pocket dimension is only in the pocket dimension. When people are trapped in the pocket dimension they just disappear from the real world.
I think Momo avoided damage the same way as in ep 1, by using a psychic barrier. When the alien punched, it was hitting her shield, not her directly. Her hands were out like she was protecting herself, which makes sense!
Whenever you see a Psychic or spiritual type character getting hit hard enough it could kill a normal person, they'd normally be covered or reinforced by some kind of energy barrier, examples: Mob getting tossed through walls and Fushiguro getting tossed through buildings
Think of her powers like a weaker Mob. Mob has a barrier that keeps him from getting hit sometimes and Momo has something similar. You can hear a sound like the punch hitting a barrier when the monster made that first punch after throwing Momo.

I think she meant the voice actor for Okarun is different when he transformed (Tanjiro's VA) but yeah it's the same VA for Okarun, just doing a different voice for his personality change
