this aint Oldschool because it never will be old in 1999 I was in Sheffield buying an abundance of trance every Monday if I saw a thrill seekers mix I just had to have it.
down town to the record shops every Saturday down town clubbing I listen to this music as much today as I did back then and I now have a family who unfortunately have face book and Tik Tok.
with them constantly telling me to turn my music down while they sit endless scrolling 😒
I feel I'm on my own and saddened somtimes surrounded only by my collection of over 4,000 CD singles while I lock myself away and let the music play on just like I did back in my 20's that I miss so much these times.... I never thought one day I would be looking back then again I never thought we would moving forward.... 💔

Mid to late 90s, early noughties Dance music and its scene will NEVER be topped. Simplz. I used to work on the door at the night club Nation (formerly an old skool nite club called Snobs, with Club Continental next door lol) in Liverpool, when Cream started there on Friday nights, Cream@Nation it was originally, and Bugged Out did nights on a Saturdays, and you could feel the cultural tsunami and dance vibe building, ready to change music and the world forever! Gives me butterflies still thinking back to Oakenfolds monthly residency, and that "I was actually there" feeling 😏👌(Jeeeez did I actually use "simplz" in a sentence? 🤦♂️😁🤣)

Re: 1:14:10 Was something like 15 years before I found out there was an original mix of Janeiro, thought it was just an AvB track. Was on the way home on the bus and pretty wasted at the time, just flicking through track suggestions on TH-cam when I stumbled on it. Was an absolutely glorious moment! 🙌
