Before Luminosity Steve wanted to troll PvD by playing For An Angel as he played before him - instead he "trolled" The Space Brothers by playing "Someone (The Thrillseekers Remix)", which is a remix of Space Bro's tune - it was a nice moment when they hugged ^_^ The only thing I'd change is instead of the Original Mix of Mike Koglin's "1:1.618" I'd play Pulser's remix as the drop in Original Mix is always annoying me with it's unpredictability 😝 Anyways I really enjoyed this set - the whole Friday had the best classics lineup during this event!

Many djs go for quantity over quality, but Steve plays extended mixes and let's the set develop/breathe. Good mixing and transitions as always. It feels more like a club set and its easier to get lost in the music.

1000 Times better Trance from back in the Days ( 2003-2010) as the entire all Producer Sounds the Same become boring Standard Uplifting Trance from Today ... Back in the Days PvD was PvD , Ronski Speed was Ronski Speed , Pulser was Pulser , Above&Beyond was Above&Beyond , Signum was Signum , etc etc ,,but the Producers from Todays Uplift Trance sounds really all the same … Same boring 10 Saw Lead Layers .. 7 Midbass same Pattern Layers … no Clap slapping trough the Drop etc overfancy Build ups That’s why i stopped produce Trance since 2020 … Well .. Anyway Thank You Steve for Playing all the Good old Golden Stuff :) 🙌🙌🙌
Almost every trance dj these days sound the same. Cant tell who is who anymore just by listening to the sets. Back then everyone had their own sound and style and I could tell who it was. I miss those days.
Spot on, although modern stuff is still awesome, it is too homogeneous, and you don't get that complete difference of sound. My faves: you could tell a DuMonde, Signum, Ferry remix a mile away.
Steve is still one of my top 5 djs in the world and after hearing his set, Dave Pearce should have been at Luminosity this year for sure. Absolute class Steve and dave and the atmosphere is always thriving 👌
