[Marriott Bonvoy] Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok 最近リニューアルされたCYバンコクをご紹介！

Hey everyone,
I "staycation"ed at this wonderful hotel near ChitLom BTS station in Bangkok, during my birthday week！
Looks like they had a major renovation in all the rooms, as well as areas such as the lobby, hallways, etc.
I used points mostly for this stay, and had a great time; mostly thanks to the amazing staff!

Does this hotel offer an executive lounge for diamond members?

Hi Oliver, thanks for the message. I don’t remember seeing a lounge here.
From what I have experienced, none of the CY hotels offer a lounge for elite members.
With Marriott Bonvoy, the top tiers are “Ambassador”, “Titanium”, and “Platinum”.
Hilton Honors and now IHG programs have “Diamond” status.

Yes, I meant platinum. Was comparing to the Sheraton royal orchid which has a lounge, that’s why I’m asking - thanks. On some websites it is stated that the courtyard has a lounge but as these posts are older I’m assuming it has been closed due to renovation

They used to have also Executive lounge in the past, but now it is closed and likely remains so. However, if you are Marriott Bonvoy Platinum or higher, you can opt for free breakfast as a welcome gift and we got also a coupon for evening happy hour. The coupon is valid for once per stay - thus perfect when doing a 1-night stay, but if staying longer, then you would need to decide which of the evenings you'd like to use it. The coupon gave free-flow of selected drinks for 2 hours and 2 snacks from a special menu.

Yes, I do remember getting some drink vouchers, I remember getting one for each night, a total of five, if I remember correctly. But then, another agent had given me another five. So I had 10. Haha
I did use may be six of them. It was my birthday, after all. 😊
I have been thinking about the lounge, and I do not remember seeing one at all.
So it may have permanently closed. Or it may have been temporarily closed when I stayed there.
