I love your perspective and humour in your videos as a fellow Melbourne-ian. Great cafe review and calling out the Melbourne style of latte coffee and finding places that have those great atmospheres. Really helps start your day well. Can't wait till I can go visit some of these places later this year!
Hello! 👋 I hope you find this useful on your next trip to Kyoto! I know finding Melbourne-like coffee was something I was worried about coming here - but Kyoto really delivered!! Also if you’re into matcha lattes, Kyoto (obviously) blows it out of the water 🍵
I have to say I really enjoy your music selections for the videos, and it really added to the enjoyment while watching this. Definitely bookmarking these places for our next Kyoto visit.
My family and I visited Tsumigi and Coyote while in Kyoto thanks to your recommendations. Amazing places thank you so much. The staff were fantastic and friendly and super baby friendly. They let us take our stroller in but after two days I was comfortable leaving the stroller outside as long as it wasn't raining 😊
Thank you very much for your posting☺ Drinking coffee in Kyoto is wonderful☕ The season of cherry blossoms in full bloom is coming soon, so please enjoy Hanami (花見🌸)!
Love the video! Espresso enthusiast here. Do any cafes open before 8AM, or is that my western way of thinking that it’s necessary to have caffeine earlier? 😅
Unfortunately from what I’ve encountered it seems mostly chains like Starbucks that are open from 7/8am. For some reason the specialty coffee stores seem to open from like 10ish 🤔 not sure why though Although there’s a few around ninenzaka that open earlier because there’s so many tourists!
In 2017 and 2018 I was in Kyoto and I was in front of the Kurasu Coffee, APA Hotel, and that signature coffee caught my attention, it's a shame I didn't enter...😢
Your videos are high quolity. There are good material of videos , good edition and good contens.I want to know how you shoot.Because Your videos sometimes look like they were shot with a drone.
With a drone?? I’m so flattered haha Thank you for your kind words 😊 Aussie coffee is so good! But I’ve recently been so impressed with the standards of coffee in Japanese cafes too! ☕️☕️
A video with the theme of coffee houses! I have to see this. I live in Vienna, where the first coffee house was opened on January 17, 1685 (yes 1685). So Austria and Vienna also have a long, very lively coffee house culture. It has even been UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2011. So I find other coffee house cultures incredibly exciting. I've already learned a lot about coffee houses in Korea from the enchanting cari cakes on TH-cam.
I’d love to visit a coffee shop in Vienna some day! Is it most commonly drank as an espresso or in some other way? Korean-style cafes are popping up all over Melbourne as well, I enjoy their vibe too 😊
@@Sunny_in_Japan Hi or as we say in Vienna "Servus"! I would say the typical, traditional coffee in Vienna is the "Melange". Quite similar to a cappuccino. The mixture of very old, very traditional coffee houses is particularly appealing, for example this one here: maps.app.goo.gl/VAvL8AEfK3xcHoA87 but also very new, modern cafes like this one: maps.app.goo.gl/PNkVWGqmaBM344xe7 Of course, a visitor must also try the famous sweets such as the "Viennese Sachercake". Meeting up for a coffee to chat with friends, talk business, work on a laptop as a student, or simply enjoy the atmosphere and a newspaper on your own is simply part of the Viennese way of life.

Such a niche video IMO, I love it.
Thank you ☺️ I’m glad you enjoyed it

you look like Seerasan - I almost thought this was a second channel by her
Oh really? 😂 I probably sound like her too haha
Do you often watch her channel?
have you thought of auditioning for Tokyo Creatives, or getting a production job with them?
I’m enjoying making videos for my own channel at the moment but in the future who knows! 🤷♀️
❤🎉Love hot coffee.
Waiting for tge next trips in Japan.^___^

Low key
