    It worked against dirty dieselparticulate filter which triggered limp mode, thank you. I injected 2 cans through oxygen sensor opening. Then I used error code reader to erase error code. Now it works as normal. Before it didn't help to only erase error codes.

      Nice to hear. I have the same problem where it's stuck in limp mode (vw passat 1.6 Tdi) . I tried one can through the hose of the dpf pressure differensial sensor but the hose there is so damn long that i bet most of the product was wasted in one edge of the filter.
      I will try like in the video with 2 cans and hope for the best 😅👍

      @@TallDudeSSj 1 can didn't work. 2 cans in a row worked (maybe 3 cans needed even in your case). I waited 10 min to let it soak into the DPF, I also cleared the limp mode lamp with obd2 tool so car can gear up and then I took it for a highway ride and DPF diode turned off as soon as I reached high speed because the high airflow helped push out the dirt. I used ProMeister DPF Cleaner (not regenerator) because they were on rebate. Good luck.

      @@TheDutchGarage It works long time/still works. It can come back if driving style is not good, for example driving often with gas pedal pushed to bottom with high rev and not let car go to higher gear, this can be interpreted as dirty filter but in this case just inject again DPF cleaner as described above and it should go back to normal. I have Citroen 1.6, it was easy to inject through oxygen sensor hole. Thank you.

    I can confirm that this stuff works. I could read the raw values from the differential pressure sensor and the difference before and after were very clear. (I used another brand though, but I guess they all work the same way.) In my case I took out the temperature sensor on the DPF module to enter the foam.

    i have a Toyota 2.0L D4d 2011.
    My mechanic told be to buy one of these (i think Wurth) and to put it in the differential temperature sensors (red marking)
    then you have to force it to go into regeneration mode ( a lot of RPMs >3000rpms for 30'-60' highway driving.

    Hello, are these sprays suitable for engines with DPF placed after the turbo, in the front of the engine? Isn't there a possibility for some of the spray to get in the turbo and from there in the engine?

      I think this kind of stuff is a foam, not a liquid. I'm afraid your sensor hose will get stuck with it. In my case I can't get my O2 sensor off, not even with a tool like in the video. It's just too stuck. So it's tempting to try the sensor hose instead, but I'm not risking it.

    honestly I cannot imagine how any can spray product wants to remove 100+ grams of ash and sooth, hardened like stone by prematurely stopped regenerations. For all of this you need very high temperatures to melt the sooth and high pressure solvent liquids to remove that from the filter. I‘d advise to either consider professional cleaning or alternatively a replacement filter with corderite substrate which is far cheaper as the silicate-oxide and works just as good.

    • @TheDutchGarage
      @TheDutchGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If the filter I indeed to clogged then this probably doesn't help. But I do think it's worth a try. It did work in a couple of cases for me.

    You need to do this with a hot engine and the engine needs to be on. And if possible spray via the map / particulate filter boost sensor hose.. and while spraying, a second person needs to press the gas pedal for many times.
