- The president of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote says Nigeria needs at least Five million jobs annually, as job creation is currently the biggest issue in the country, He also noted that governments and private sector need to improve synergy for growth. CNBC Africa caught up with him at the Edo State Investment Summit in Benin City and discussed entrepreneurship in Nigeria, what states can do to attract investments and more.
This man is full of business wisdom. Nigerian youths listen carefully. Important point Dangote made, "it's not role of govt to create jobs".
It is role of govmt to provide security to do business, I can't start a farm only for killer herdsmen to come in and destroy or start transport company only for highway robbers and touts to vandalise my vehicles and kill my driver's, so the Government has a lot to do before you can start saying what you are saying
