I know this might be making this very simple but when you changed broadband providers did they use the same wifi name and password you had setup before?
@@Wanderer001_Reviews_Clips No all the details of username and password was changed so I removed the doorbell and chime from the eufy app then when I tried to set it up again on the new broadband the doorbell does not syc to the chime anymore
@@Choco_kitty35Did you get a new wifi access point? Might need to try moving it closer to it durning setup. I know I have used a few things like that in the past that needed to almost be right on top of my old setup.
So I have a mesh network which covers the whole house and my outdoor patio. However, when I do the setup, it wants it to connect to the router Wi-Fi. After I do that, I cannot connect my additional cameras to the hub unless they are on the safe Wi-Fi signal. Any way around that?
Question, dose the camera connect to the homebase directly or via the network? Means can i hide the homebase somewhere at the house where it’s connected to the network and the camera outside connected to the same network? Or the video feed going directly from the camera to the base without going to the home router? Other question do you know if it’s still not supported with iCloud+? Thanks
The home base after setup does not need to be hardwired to your access point after set up. It can connect over wifi. The means you can place it where you like after the fact. Cameras connect over the homebase not your access points wifi. iColud is not supported as far as I know.

@@hybridmods4228 There is an option in the app that you will have to change first. But after that the home base can work over WiFi without taking up a port on your router.

I have a dual band router 2.4 and 5 ghz , i have connected through a wire my home base first ,then i wanted to connect it through the wifi however it says that my wifi supports 5ghz (not true ) i even turned off 5gjz for the purpose of connection with my router and still nothing ! Another time i tried and it says that my eufy app and router may not be on the same wifi settings ? Have you experienced that ? Thx
It sounds like you could have a wifi router that uses the same name for 2.4 and 5ghz. Which could cause that "issue". As for not being on the same network, I have had that happen if I am on my guest network or still on cellular data and not my wifi.

I did initially hard wire to my router and set up the cameras, then disconnected hard wire and moved my Homebase across the house to the window closest to the camears. Then I looked on my software on my iphone, but did not see an option for wireless. I'm guessing I should have looked for this option while Homebase was still wired to the router?
My friend its me again 😅, all of a sudden the homebase has restarted on its own and nothing appears on the app . Now when i try to setup the system and add the homebase i get this message “unabel to add homebase3” even though I followed all the steps it fails at the last step “ press the SYNC/ALARM button untill it beeps “ and it does but then nothing happens! I even tried using the reset button still nothing happens! Thank you for your support.
That might be a little beyond what I can help. You hit the areas that I would have suggested looking into. At this point it might be time to contact eufy tech support.
Is there one in particular you were looking for. Right now it seems that the cameras that they said would be compatible with the Homebase 3 will not bet getting an update until mid 2023 now.

There is a little icon when you click into the settings for the camera next to the charging icon should look like a wifi signal icon. this shows you the strength of the connect. It is not as good as the one during setup but should give you a pretty good idea.

I removed mine from the apo as it lost connection, the camera is a brick now, no beep in the sync button and cannot be connected again, the support from Eufy cannot get more stupid

What brand/model router are you connecting hb3 to? Also what id the color of the led light at the back where you plug into Ethernet cable? My current router is Tp link a7 archer and hb3 is not able to connect to router via Ethernet cable. Other all devices are able to connect.
I was using the ASUS RT AX88U to connect to the HB3. The color of th light where I connected the HB3 to my Asus was flashing green and amber shwoing data passing.
What supposed you buy something solar but you needs plug the base to the electricity that's the more wrong deal I gonto return my camera because no works with my 5g wifi
The cameas are solar powered the base station needs to be powered some how. If it stays inside it really can't be solar powered. 5g wifi is what your cell phone uses, unless you mean 5ghz. In which case there are not a lot of cameras out there right now that use that spectrum.

It would work but it would not keep the battery topped off if it does not have access to sun light.

You may be able to leave them in place, I just happened to need to move these closer to get them to pair.

Hi, can you connect this to an external monitor as opposed to only being able to view the camera on your phone?
You can not. Eufy does have a web portal but you will need a actual computer to look at it.
How do you then connect Homebase to the router via wireless? I could not find a wireless option on my unit.
You need to set it up via hard-wired first. Then, you will get the option for wifi after you do a firmware update.

No fans, just vents. Very silent. The most I hear is the hard drive spinning up in it from time to time.

Very dependent on wall type it needs to go through but I have had it as far as 21.81 m when I was testing.

When you say you get notifications from your tv is that because the camera is pointed at the TV?
yes , the TV is in the living room and the camera detects the faces and motion in the TV and send me notifications
@@mhmdsulami If you set up a detection zone that avoids the area with the tv this will stop it from sending you notifications.

No, the camera and home base need to be on the same wifi network in order to work.

Can homebase unit be connected on wifi rather then cable
After you first set it up you can select to use it over wifi in the app.

So you just buy a hard drive and install it. That's it? Nothing to download?
Nothing extra to download as you already would have the eufy app. The drive would then just need to be formatted then it is good to go.

Only a small set of cameras are compatible with the home base 3. Eufy is slowly making other cameras compatible but it will take time.
