Saige was a doll I was obsessed with but then didn't get when she was available. I finally bought her in pretty good condition for a good deal. She's so gorgeous!
Yes to all the Mia love!! I did so many extra chores and babysitting as a 12 year old to save up for her before 2008 ended and i still feel like she's one of the prettiest dolls AG has ever made.
Ok but Lindsey really deserves more love I was never interested in her either until I found one at a thrift store and bought her and now she is one of my all time favorite dolls she is truly so amazing in person pictures just don’t do her justice
It's cool you rename your dolls!!! I don't with American girls but I rename my Hearts to Hearts club dolls because I named the first one Harriet before I knew they were established characters. To be fair, all three I've gotten were thrifted but I think they're beautiful so was happy to pick up them up when I saw them. Great video!
My ranking would be Kavi, Joss, Kanani, Luciana, Marisol, Mia, and Chrissa (but more for sentimental value). I don't own a Marisol or Mia unfortunately, but I have the others I mentioned. Luciana's story takes place in my hometown so that always makes me happy.
Well I have most of my fav GOTY dolls, but Grace would be a great addition! I’m with you on her entire collection and how fun it is! I have Kanani, Isabelle, Saige and Lea 🥰 Saige may be my favorite girl of the year bc I’ve spent most of my life in Colorado, and equestrian life and art is huge here. Plus, in Colorado Springs, we have a huge hot air balloon festival every year! I love her story, and how she overcomes her fears 👏
I agree with you on Lindsey and Kavi even though I think she is cute. I ❤ Marisol, Nicki, Jess, Mckenna, Mia, Lea, Saige, Kanani, Joss, Blaire, and Chrissa. I ❤ Grace but her bangs are a pain sometimes.
Thank you for list the GOTY line. I admit never really enjoyed those dolls so it’s good when I can see what others think. My BFF can’t fathom why I am not losing sleep on not having Lindsey especially being Jewish. Yet I pre-ordered Rebecca and was first in line for the Hoffman twins. i dunno why. I got Luciana (my only GOTY and most likely my only) due to the same year I crossed Space camp off my bucket list and she was being sold at the camp gift shop. She was kind of souvenir of my experience more then a doll for my collection.
you definitely have some different opinions on gotys, but a lot are similar to mine! i do like hearing peoples reasonings for their ranking. amazing video 😊
Cosplay&dolls, My Granddaughter daughter has scoliosis, she asked the other day if I could get a brace like she has for her doll. Would you know where to get a back brace for a doll? Thank you
I have scoliosis myself not in a brace but would want that for my doll's. Because scoliosis is very hard and I know I'm not along and seeing somebody else in the AG TUBE community who has the same thing as I do means alot too me. My sister had it as well and got back sugary to fix her scoliosis. I'm managing my scoliosis with just pain meds to deal with the chronic pain that it causes.

Blaire is one of my most favorite AG dolls. I do not know why people rank her low. She is litterly so pretty and my mom agrees with me too. Grace is one of my favorites too!

My opinion: (don’t hate on me). Chrissa is by far my least favorite. I can’t bond with her, I think her dark hair and blue eyes make her look a lil spooky. I adore her friends. She is the only doll, GOTY, historical, truly me that I could do without. I would sell her off but she technically belongs to my daughter so I have to hope I don’t run into her in the dark lol
we literally would not have the girl of the year line without Lindsay, she is SO SO SO underrated, she is adorable AND she was ag first Jewish doll

I always assumed kanani was Native Hawaiian , perhaps they used Jess’ mold since some Indigenous people can have monolids but that’s my theory anyways
It's mentioned in the books that Kanani's father is Japanese and Native Hawaiian
