Oh my gosh, Dennis R is the greatest all around defender and rebounder in the history of the NBA . He was critical in helping his teams win 5 Championships. He was an absolute force on the basketball court and he did it without much offense. He no doubt deserves to be in the top 7. You missed the mark on DR my friend.
You overrate Rodman severely. He was a pretty great defender and he's probably the best rebounder of the modern Era, but he was a black hole on offense and his overall production suffered heavily. Grant Hill was frankly just better

You’re so inconsistent with these. You say “it’s only their time with the team” and then for AD you say “he’ll cement this spot if he wins a championship.” The same thing goes for when you say “I’m going with when they were at their best” and choose other points in their careers. It doesn’t matter if you want the best list possible and want to make it your way, just don’t be inconsistent and untruthful.

Nowitzki has better accolades but because Garnett is one of the best defensive players of all time I think he's the second best 4 of all time
@@fw9512 Yeah it was Barkley, Malone, and Nowitzki. KG was a better defender than Dirk but head to head, I’m pretty sure Dirk would get the better of KG. There was a final series in the early 2000s between the Mavericks and Timberwolves where Dirk torched KG and averaged 33 ppg.

Made 2 All-Star teams, won DPOTY twice, was all defense more times and played more games. Only real difference is Rodman was 3 for 3 in the finals with Chicago while he was 2 for 3 in Detroit.

He was part of the championship teams but he didn't actually win them. He played with Isaiah Thomas, Jordan, and Pippen. He played with David Robinson and Shaq but couldn't help them winning championships.

You can’t disregard a player because you don’t respect the fact that basketball was evolving. Obviously the game is completely different now but you can’t use that against players from the 50’s. Draymond is one of the best all around players in the league. Rodman was the better rebounder but Green is a better scorer

Glad to see dirk getting some respect. Most ppl have him top 5 behind Duncan, Malone, KG and barkley but I always seen him as the 2nd best. 3rd at the lowest. He changed the game and was an unstoppable scorer. Also stayed with 1 team to get a ring. Didnt leave to join other stars to win(i know KG was traded but he still didn't win till he got 2 other Allstars). Plus he's like top 7 in all time points

I would put Rodman ahead of quite a few of the guys you mentioned above him - he has a serious case for being snubbed as the FMVP in 95-96 not many of the players ahead got as far, were as impactful and had a serious case.

I’m not a Celtics fan. But McHale is a straight up Legend. Fought wars in the playoffs and has the titles to prove it. Barkley himself proclaimed him the best player he ever had to guard.
Anthony Davis is a great talent who unfortunately gets hurt often. His only title was in a bubble where half the league had already checked out.
Maybe if he leads a team to one more I could see him mentioned in the same breath as McHale.
