Over the course of NBA history, point guard has been the game’s most important position. Your point guard is the heart and soul of your team and an extension of your coach. Without a good one you’re rudderless.

Glad to see Clyde on here. If the Knicks needed scoring, he'd score. If they needed d, he did that too.
Jason Kidd is still the best PG to ever play for the Mavericks. Luka will likely surpass him soon enough, but Kidd also won Rookie of the Year as a Maverick, was an All Star as a Maverick, and won an NBA Championship as a Maverick🏆
Luka is trending to be better than Kidd, but Kidd was a 10x All Star, 9x All Defensive Team, 18 consecutive seasons in the Playoffs, 3x Finals appearances, 1x Champion, #2 All Time in Assists, #2 All Time in Steals, #6 All Time in Three-Pointers, #4 All Time in Triple-Doubles... You don't eclipse that level of greatness after only 2 seasons, not even Luka, not yet...
Jason Kidd is also the best Point Guard the Suns ever had...
How did he record the lines where he listed two different assist or rebound statistics for the same season/player without realizing he made a mistake?
I love comments 🙂🙂
you forgot Seattle Supersonics Gary Payton
The best bulls point guard of all time is Jordan when he was point guard for 24 games and got 10 triple doubles in 11 games averaging 32 ppg.

Sidney is a shooting guard
Harden, Moncrief and Iverson are all SG's who've played the point at times. I feel like the video should have either picked true PG's or made a special notation for those 3 entries. Not doing it kind of ruins the video for me.
Do the small forward
I'm old enough to have seen Cousy invent the passes that Magic became known for.
Ricky Rubio would be the best Timberwolves pg🤷🏽♂️

Cousy doesn’t get talked about enough
"Over the course of nba history point guard has been the game's most important position". Wrong. Big men dominated the league in the early part of nba history, and really the big man has only been wrongly deemed non-essential fairly recently. Not saying big men are non-essential at all, they were the centerpiece of most championship teams for decades, even into the 90's and early 2000's. It's clear to see with Shaq and Kobe in the early 2000's but when Jordan retired for the first time in the 90's who won 2 championships and 2 finals mvps? That's right, Hakeem Olajuwon. You can make the argument big men were less important during the 80's, but would Magic have won all those chips without Kareem? Would Bird have won all those chips without Mchale? Outside of phenomenal outliers, Dr.J (though even Dr. J had Moses Malone, one of the greatest big men of all time and possibly the best player on that championship team), MJ, Bird, Magic, etc. superstar big men were far more essential to championship teams than any other position throughout the NBAs history.
Big men still dominate the game. Besides curry and Isaiah.. Which equal to 5 chips of course with Durant, what other pg dominate the game? Magic dont count since he was 6'8 and played 5 positions
Correct. 👍
