The biggest sin of Gen 5 to me was not having the centerpiece of all my team builds available to me before post-game. Not even B2W2 fixed the issue for me when they had the biggest opportunity at redemption at their fingertips. The games are challenging, added some of the coolest pokemon ever like Haxorus, Zoroark and Volcarona, gave us the first story sequel in the main franchise, and are the last of the classic 2D style pokemon games. There's lots not to like, sure but there's plenty to love. Also, I feel like most haters haven't even played B2W2; honestly, a lot of the complaints I've heard about BW are lessened in B2W2: Fewer rival fights, a bigger pokedex, more to do in the postgame.
