I love this keyboard. after buying and returning 7 keyboards in amazon, This was it.. helped my transition from laptop keyboard to desktop and A LOT better than regular mechanical or membrane.
would you say that its similar to a laptop keyboard at all? Cause thats exactly the reason why im looking to buy one of these, I've been using a latpop for a long time and i find the typical desktop keyboards uncomfortably high so im looking to buy a nice low keyboard

had this keyboard for about 6 months for gaming. I find it amazing, but beware the key switches are not hot swapable. after 6 months several no longer work, I will have to unsolder and solder some new ones on, the durability is pretty poor, but the feel and fit are great, for $250 the key switches should last a alot longer then 6 months.
@@coffer3865 I've received replacement keyboard with serial starting with 1948MR - that one worked straight away without any problems. If anybody have this kind of problem - no software update will fix it - send it for "service" with problem description - you will get new one.
To me very important is that this keyboard can process more than 2 keystrokes at a time. This seems very important to me for gamers. (sprint + forward + move left or right 4 example)
Had it for 1 week now and I just opened the box again and thinking in returning it, I have the linear keys and I feel that they are louder than my old membrane keyboard, and also the G-Keys confuse my brain constantly, my brain is used to have the control keys and Co. right at the border of the keyboard, so I'm missing keys each time.

I see the G815 have an onboard memory for the G keys macros (I'm using a G19 , from about a decade ago and still working!, and i'm looking for the same functionality). Can you test if you can record macros on the fly with the MR button without using installed software (I'm planning to use it in a work computer and i can't install additional software, but macro keys are a life saver for shortcuts) I guess I won't be able to personalize RGB this way but that's not important, thank you.

if you're talking about the lighting effect while the op is typing, its called 'ripple' in the ghub software. You'll find it under the lightsync section, and then under presets. Hope this helped. I just got this a few days ago to replace my 910, and finally trying it out. IMO its better than the 910 due to the softer key presses.
My current G910 keyboard started doing double typing keys yesterday and it's way worse today. This is the 2nd G910 in the last 5 years to develop this problem. I've cleaned the keys, uninstalled ghub, all that stuff stiill doesn't fix it. I've been using Logitech exclusively for my keybobard/mise for over 2 decades now..but really disappointed with the G910 quality. That said, now I'm probably dumb to consider another logitech keyboard, looks like the G815 is the closest I'll get to the G910. Although spending over $250 in the last 5 years on the same keybobard doesn't give me much hope for yet another logitech keyboard. I love the romer-g tactile keys...not sure how close the GL Tactile on the g815 compare.

Hi there! I am new to mechanical keyboards and am considering buying the G 815. Is it possible to easily replace the LEDs? It's important to me because LEDs darken over time due to the limited brightness life expectancy of LED technology. I plan to own the keyboard for a long time. Thx!

I got 815 linear, the serial number starts from 1920MR - the keyboard is not detected by LGHub, it goes dark immediately.

Try typing with the keys immediately below the ESC key and the F10 key. Do they work properly?

Im not too sure why the price is going down so fast, it could be that Logitech will be releasing some new models but again that is just a guess.
