Everything about Black Adder is perfect. The writing, the acting, the casting, the comic timing.

Imagine watching Dr. House highlights where House diagnoses one magical thing after another then switching to Blackadder just to see Hugh Laurie getting slapsticked...cos that's what I was just doing.

What I love about this is most of my fellow Americans only know Hugh Laurie as Dr. House. They have no idea of his ability to play screwball comedy with the best of them.

Watched this series religiously on pbs back in the 90s. Its genius. I love introducing my friends to Black Adder. I'm like, it's Dr. House and Mr. Bean!
Whats funny is as an american growing up my dad would watch blackadder with me and I found Hugh Laurie Hilarious as Prince George, so watching him play House later in college just made chuckle.
Made a great bumbling character in both 3 and 4. And a good villain in the finale of Black Adder 2

3 Hilarious Hugh Laurie Moments | Blackadder | BBC Comedy Greats 1815pm 28.12.22 i just watched children of the damned and wellington's attitude to the old sausage sucker sums up to perfection (in relation to the tawdry and moribund death's head fanatics they deemed contemporary humanity and their outmoded expression of that humanity) how hysterical one's fellow man is. his attacking of the old kraut is very amusing, though. n.b those who take the actors' attitudes literally may be excused now. they're the confounded fools i am having to deal with. adios.
