My boyfriend and I just went there this past weekend & we really had a great time it had been many years since we had been there. I was really curious to see changes. This is a great park for scaredy-cat types to begin their amusement park journey. I feel IB is middle school & Cedar Point is gradation. I ❤ both parks total apples & oranges, but they r both awesome.🎉🎉🎉
I grew up in Monticello and loved the place. When I visit the area I take my kids there. For those who haven’t been there, imagine a carnival and an amusement park having a love child along a lake in a small town. That’s Indiana beach
This is wonderful to see! I have not been there since 2017. I hope they continue to improve, and that I can someday get back there! I was especially glad to see the pinball machines back.
I used to go every summer as a kid. What they did to the mine ride broke my heart when I went back about 7 years ago. That was my favorite ride as a kid. I wish they'd restore the original.
This looks like an amazing park. Lots of traditional flat rides, a variety of things to do and a wonderful and unusual setting. The carp feeding was pretty cool to see. I've always been fond of the traditional amusement parks. So glad Indiana Beach was saved. Thanks for the Walk-thru video. I always enjoy them.
I live 25 mins away from Kings Island, and both Cedar Point and Indiana Beach are 3 and a half hours away in different directions. Every once in a few years I'll go to Indiana Beach. It's always a fun time. Some great coasters and lines are short.
I'm 60 years old and grew up going to Indiana Beach and loved it. The last time my wife my grandson and I were there in 2022 I was pretty disappointed. One of the things we truly loved was the Pronto pup corn dog. I got one and I couldn't finish it, it used to be fantastic. Another thing I loved was the Water Swing. Now they have it going so fast that I was laying on my back, not enjoyable anymore. The other rides I used enjoy was the same thing. I'm glad it was saved but sadly not in hurry to back anymore 😔
Indiana beach has new owners now I had almost the same exact experience now in 2024 this place isn’t the how it was 20+ years ago but it’s ran way better now
@@CruzAlex-f5z I agree better but the things I love are gone. The delicious corn dogs are now terrible and the rides are going so fast just don't enjoy them 😔
No buying tickets for rides they are all included in your admission. Frankensteins castle is a upcharge. Lost coaster has been redone and working great.
@jayducharme we never did it either. It had an upcharge and we weren't interested at the time. These days we do pay for a triple flight on sky coaster when it's cheap
I haven’t been there since I was teenager and I’m adult now I want to go back. I miss it so much. Part of my childhood and im glad they save it. You help out as well.

I went there over 40 years ago as a kid. It was always so much fun!

Fun place, because has large variety of rides, flat and coasters. Lost Coaster is a blast.
I'd be screaming to get on those slides.
Do they still have ziplining? What about the old-time photos?
I didn’t spot those while we were there.

Good to know!
The large structure you commented on at the start of your video was a zip line. Was operational for all of five minutes.
Wow. Didn't know they ever had one. Thanks!
@@jayducharme It went across the lake and landed at the park!
@@VBPablo I wish I had a chance to ride it!

Campground boats are no more, they use a trolley now.
That’s too bad. The boats were a great way to view the park.
Bring back the gunboats!
Going this weekend
I went there in July 4
Is Fascination still open?
Yes, it was when we were there.
When I hear “Keeps the riffraff out”, I’m thinking, “Ok, boomer” 🙄🙄🙄
